This hot tub is awesome. It is a classy, elegant and deluxe spa. Guests are very impressed with it. It is comfortable, quiet, and relaxing with all the different jet arrangements. I have an electric monitoring device on this spa circuit and it really only costs $15 a month to run it, and we use it about every other to every third day.
You can't go wrong buying a Hotspring Spa.

This spa is awesome. It is the 2nd Sovereign spa that we have had...the first lasted over 18 years. This spa has all the bells and whistles that we wanted. The array of lighting is perfect...the colors rich in tone and adjustable. The jets are powerful, adjustable, and all have different effects. The water temperature is always correct and we like the fact that you can choose the "summer setting" which is energy efficient allowing the spa to be off for 8 hrs each day. We program it so that its off late at night and ready when we need it. The spa surface is excellent...durable and easy to clean. The choice of spa surfaces makes it easy to choose what fits best with your spa room decor. The filters are easy to maintain and the current batch of chemicals make it easy to keep up with maintaining the water. We highly recommend the cover cradle that makes it very easy to lift and stow the spa cover. We are exceptionally pleased with the quality of the spa and the very professional installation and followup provided by the Hallmark Superstore in Fayetteville, NC.

The title says it all. We have owned our Sovereign Spa for 2 years and have had zero problems. This is our second Hot Springs Spa. Our first one was a 4 person Hot Spot Spa that performed very well, with zero problems, for 8 years. We wanted a bigger, fancier spa when we moved into our new home.
I highly recommend Hot Springs Spas.

The Sovereign is the perfect size: big enough for 4-5 people, small enough to fit our space without being obtrusive. The quality of the Hotspring brand far exceeded any other brand that we considered. We chose the ACE option, and it works as easily and reliably as our salt water pool system. Plus the softer feel of the water makes long soaks possible without drying out our skin. I would not hesitate to recommend this spa to my friends.

I bought my spa used and had the local dealer come out and give it a tune up. It is a fantastic hot tub and when you need to destress froma long day, this is the tub to do it in. It is just the right size and works great. The quality is better than any others I have seen.

This is our second Hot Springs spa and won't even look at another brand!
First Hot Springs spa we had was moved 6 times (because we moved), and performed like new in over ten years of ownership! Very well made, great warranty and service! Love this new spa even better. More jets, more efficient heater, very therapeutic as well as pure relaxation and luxury! Worth every penny!

I have lived in Maine for 18 years. I have had my tub for 3 of those years. What a difference to my health and attitude. It is a four season tub where i live. It has been truly therapeutic. I feel so lucky ever time i immerse myself. . I love the night sky so I don't need all the spa lights but the kids like them. I also like to use the spa at dawn . It is a nice way to get vitamin D in the winter and spring too. Any time is a good time. I wonder why I waited so long.

The energy efficiency hasn't raised our power bill that much that we can see. It has not been noticeable on our power bill.
We like the large foot base--lots of room. The reclining area is so relaxing. Nice to catch a few winks there!
Remind people to locate their tub close to their house--I was all set to place it out farther, with a view. Everyone talked me out of doing that and I was so glad they did. Nobody wants to get cold walking that far--to the tub or when out of the tub walking back to the house.
Wish it had a better type of "waterfall" than it does, though.
We really like the "sand" type interior. It has a neat look to it and never looks dirty. It's also a bit more casual than some of the high-sheen finishes.
The size is great--it is rectangular, though, so one needs an area somewhat rectangular in which to put it--ours looks great here, outside near our one diningroom window and out from the sidewalk around our one-level small home. We aren't millionaires and live on a small farm and it fits in with the rural scenery just fine.
We wondered about spending this much--was it a "luxury" we shouldn't spend money on? But, as we're in our 60's now, those aches and pains just made it appear more and more acceptable! We are so glad we have it now to relax in--we have had several deaths in the family this year and the Sovereign hot tub is some solitude for these aches in our hearts now. What great therapy during these sad times for us. It was meant to be that we purchased the Sovereign in December of 2010.
I, the wife, do the maintenance. Most important is that the Oregon Hot Springs store is located not far from us at Clackamas and that we can get any and all information from them on maintaining the chemicals and cleaning our hot tub, etc. They often run sales, too. We buy what we need right there and also get professional advice on what to do and how to do it. We can also look at the other hot tubs and admire them. Always interesting to see what's new there, of course.
We never thought we'd ever have a hot tub or want one. But, since we decided to get one, and researched them a lot, we were glad we went with the Sovereign and got it at the Clackamas store--Dale, who works for Oregon Hot Springs Spas, said he has one and that it is the best for energy savings as it is rated best for that and also it is just a great relaxing tub and was his choice for the best hot tub for himself, family and friends--it has a good amount of room and we also have our daughter, her husband and two active little boys in it enjoying it when they are here. We maintain the temperature at 97 or 98 degrees because my husband has high blood pressure and I am pre-diabetic. This way, it is not overly hot and stressing our hearts and we can stay in it longer, too.
We also like the E-Mails that come from Oregon Hot Springs so that we can keep up on sales or whatever with regard to our spa and what it needs--not to mention the break-proof wine glasses, playing cards and also water toys the store stocks.
We have many images of our hot tub, at our place, but I don't have them in the computer so would need to get them in here before I could post them and I will end up erasing this if I go to get them now.

As I liked my first Hot Spring Soveriegn I purchased and sold with my last house, I purchased a second one for my new house. The newer features were well appreciated and it is a terrific, high-end spa that seats 5 comfortably yet is compact enough to fit well in my modestly sized back-yard. Water maintenance is a snap, the cover lifter option is a must-have, and it is convenient and easy to operate and enjoy. I love it.
My Sovereign had several defects that Watkins Manufacturing repaired at no charge under the warranty, but was annoying to hassle with and of course diminishes the quality rating I assign. The cover lifter option broke off on one side because a reinforcing support beam was omitted during construction at the factory. (The support beam was repaired promptly by my local Hot Spring dealer, but replacing the outer (visible) paneling took quite some time and repeated calls by me to eventually receive.) The lighting has never been quite right, with the main illuminating light projecting colors slightly off from what the display indicates. (For example, the 'white' is closer to blue, the 'red' is closer to magenta, etc.) Overall, not too big a deal but disappointing when spending $7,500+ for a purported high-end spa. The 'feature' lighting (bartop, water feature, and pillow lights) sometimes illuminates intermittently and sometimes in the wrong color. (This was repaired by my technician, but re-occurred afterward, and I finally gave up as too minor a detail to focus on in my busy schedule.)
I recommend the spa but also recommend closely inspecting it upon delivery, especially for any weakness in the back-end area where the cover lifter option (if you purchase it, which I definitely recommend--it's well worth the money) attaches; the main light, for proper color projection matching the color indicated on the control panel), and the 'feature' lights, though those failed for me only after filled with water and operated for a period of time. My technician reported that is a recurring complaint due to poor sealing of the feature lights at the factory, which he remedied by removing and replacing the defective caulking.

Love the spa. Only problem I had was with a defective light module on the motherboard along with some bad LED's. Took 8 months to resolve, due mostly to the company I bought it from. Have another LED acting up now but as far as the spa itself you can't go wrong. Better QA at the factory might resolve the light problem.

We bought a Sovereign over 10 years ago. It was our second Sovereign as my wife and I both thought this was the best fit for us. We still use and love this spa. I get in it every morning to start my day, and we use it together at least 3X a week.
I am tall and love the lounge with the moto jets. Our electrical bill barely went up and the best thing for us is the clean fresh water. We got the ozonator with it and never smell like chlorine when we get out. Easy to maintain. We will buy another when we move.
Great service from our local dealer too!

We got a lot of use out of ours and it lasted us 12 years. We really enjoyed it. There was very little repair done to it most was expected considering most any water appliance requires work after time. The shell of the tub still looks very nice and it was not made like the newer spas. We bought from the Sedelia Store and they were very helpful anytime I called.

We have had the Sovereign Tub for about a year now. Since the bigging we have had nothing but problems with ACE system. It has been replaced once without solving the problem...which is, it either puts out way too much Cholerine or doesn't produce enough. ChL water chemistry balancing needs to be monitored daily to make sure it is producing (but not too much) or not producing. I have used as much concentrated ChL as someone without the ACE system. This problem still hasn't been resolved.
The other point is that this is a "6" person tub...well, we've had 4 adults in it and would be shocked to see how "6" would fit in here...maybe 5, but not 6.
I guess I would be more satisfied if the ACE worked and required less than Daily monitoring. You spend nearly $9000 on a product, you shouldn't have to worry about if the product will work after the 1 yr warranty and then you have to deal charges for service calls within the first year of service!

Poor quality from day one, a DO NOT BUY. The Hot Spring dealer took care of everything while still under warranty, they changed the heater twice and many other parts. The shell had a crack after 3 years. The last heater is broken again, I have water leaks for the second time and it will cost $ thousands to fix: better go for another more reliable brand.

We really do enjoy our spa and used it most days this past winter. The one disappointment we have with our spa is the lights on the bartop. The bartop lights go out (flicker or are off altogether) or are the 'wrong' (different color than the others)color. We have had Hot Springs out to fix this problem and it got better for a time but quickly went back to not working. It is pretty annoying to look at so, we leave the bartop lights off most nights. This defect (while not a 'deal breaker') is certainly disappointing on such a large purchase. It has taken ove three months for the service guy to appear, and he has only fixed one of the four lights.

I changed the water today in my Sovereign spa and thought back to when we first purchased it. It will be 7 years old on Christmas, the best holiday present EVER. We have gotten an incredible amount of use out of it . Its not given us any problems, we have replaced the pillows, and performed the maintenance like we are supposed to and it performs like its brand new. We definitely did the right thing when we bought it.
