After every gym workout and every snow dki day, Im so grateful to have this spa. Helps recover sore muscles quicker and warms you up after a chilly day on the slopes.

Back with Hotsprings NOT SORRY!!

Had a jetsetter in the past, lost it in a wildfire. Setting up new home went with a less expensive spa… it was okay. However, decided we really missed the quality of our jetsetter and replaced the less expensive one ( after the pump failed a second time in 3 years) with a jetsetter—-not sorry one bit we use it everyday.

I just love my spa.!!! I had a Hot Springs Prodigy spa for 25 years. Loved it, but since the family has dwindled down to just me, I treated myself to a smaller spa The Jetsetter. Love it!! I have problems with my back and legs, so going into a nice hot spa, it has reduced my pain and I have more flexibility. The spa is so easy to maintain. I bought both my spas from Chesapeake Spa in Edgewater. MD and they have been just wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you want a wonderful, easy to care for hot tub, I highly recommend HotSpring Spas. As I said before, I have been a customer with them for over 25 years.

Our spa is awesome. We debated a long time whether to get one and we’ve both said it’s the best decision we ever made. It’s so good for reducing all the aches and pains and providing just the right relaxation to sleep well through the night.

Easy to maintain and energy efficient

The tub is being used at a rental and because of be energy efficiency and ability to run on a standard outlet I could use the tub without retrofitting the rental. It also is great that I can upgrade the electrical when I get it installed at the new house I am building. Super easy to take care of and very comfortable holds 3+ people!

Miss the Bengal

We used to have a Tiger River Bengal. After 15 years and a new deck it was time for a new spa. And it was time to downsize and get something more efficient. The Jetsetter is comfortable and a good size for two people. After several months I'm not seeing much difference in energy consumption and maintenance via the panel is ridiculous. Getting the door off requires philips and flat screwdrivers and a square drive. Putting the winter insulation in is nearly impossible with little space to stuff the blanket. The Bengal was a piece of cake. Otherwise, it's a quiet, easy to operate spa and maybe I'll forget about the access panel until spring when the insulation needs to come out!

Upon reviewing the spa pumps and heater, we can see that they run on the same amperage, which explains their similar energy usage. However, with the Jetsetter, you have the option to increase the voltage and amperage so that the lounger and jets can operate simultaneously.
We understand the importance of easy access to the equipment compartment, so we have made changes to all of our spas to ensure that all four sides can be accessed without difficulty.

Had two Hot Spring spas over a thirty year period before this one. Had an occasional problem with electrical components, hoses, jets, etc. But nothing major over 30 years, and both gave us years of pleasure. The Freshwater Jetsetter we have now has been almost impossible to balance We have used it three times in 6 months. After each use our skin is dry and extremely ITCHY for several days. The Ph is too high, so we lower it. Then the Bromine and Chlorine readings are off the chart.
We tried adding water, leaving the lid open for the sunlight, and, as suggested, hydrogen peroxide. Bromine and chlorine are still too high, and Ph is now too low. We stayed out of it for the summer and have now drained it for the winter. Maybe we will try again in the spring, and if not we probably will try and cut our losses and sell it. We had such high hopes for this......

Well worth the investment

We bought ours 5 years ago. Really love it, especially in the fall and the winter months. Great way to relax. The one piece of advice I would give is to stay away from the salt system. The cell itself burned out in about a year- and the replacement did the same. We switched over to chlorine and now use the frog system. Very easy & less cost. This unit is great for a couple, and will hold 4, but pretty tight! It being smaller is really a huge plus! Uses less energy and makes the water easier to care for.

Very useful hot tub

We purchased a Jetsetter in 2003. It has traveled with us from Colorado to Arizona.
Through kids and snow and desert, this tub has worked well. Ten years in, Watkins redesigned the heater relay board. Amazing!
After twenty years, we replaced this necessary useful tool with the last Jetsetter made in this size. Perfect for us.
