Great Spa for two

I wanted to say that the ST spa for my wife and I was the best value for the money. Since there are only two of us, why did we need a big spa? This model ST was the cats meow! It only takes 240 gallons and not the average 400 gallons as most 4 persons spas!

We replaced our 30 year old Hot Spring Sovereign spa this fall with a SX. We like the size and the Moto massage. We use the spa every morning when we are home. Like the quality, ease of use and maintenance.

Loving our Hot Spot

We purchased our HotSpring Hot Spot tub in September and have been repeating the refrain, "why didn't we do this sooner?" since then. This was a more affordable tub than many of the others, but you would never know based on the overall quality. The water care is simple and straight forward - the water has always been crystal clear with very little effort - and it is SO incredibly relaxing. We also like the fact that it's one of the smallest tubs available, which is perfect for our needs (we got the three-seater and it's the perfect size for our household). It's a fantastic hot tub in every way!

Overall, the spa seems pretty good. My biggest complaint is that the Jets only have one setting. All of the literature says that the Jets should have two settings, but for some reason ours only has one speed.

This has been a wonderful experience since the purchase. This spa is a perfect size for me and my wife. Late evening cocktails and a relaxing soak makes the tension of the day just melt away. I have found rotating from position to position has huge benefit for my lower back issues. Just another plus to being comfortably retired.

It’s still brand new to me I purchased it in March 2023 and I’m still learning the frog in-line system. I had other hot tubs since I was in my 30s all of them from Hot Springs and just getting used to it but they’re always there when I need them. Thank you.

Side panels

All 4 side panels drop because the little hooks they use inside come off. Less than a year old and happened to all 4. Think I could have used warranty but was just easier to screw side panels to the wood inside of panels. Need a better design for that. All else has been good an love the corner seat that has jet go up an down my back.

difficult to get in and out of (will improve once I add railings for the steps). Heater only goes to 104 * If I had known that I probably would have purchased elsewhere. That said it does seem to deliver what was promised.

Thank you for your spa review. Utilizing a spa rail is a great way to get in and out of the spa. Hot tub industry standards set the max temperature to 104 degrees. There may be a manual override; I will be sure to confirm with you.

Enjoying, but water quality first month was murky, however, Pinch A Penny staff helped out.
Also, water temp kept going too high when set much lower. Tech came out and determined F1/F2 set at 6 hrs and adjusted down indicating should have been considerably lower.
Seems ok after tech changed.
Difficult getting ‘sand’ etc out of tub.
Overall we r enjoying after the above issues resolved.

Received the hot tub in September is 2022, when taking off the front cover to connect the power I could see that the cover was misaligned at the factory so they just redrilled the holes for it without covering the old holes. When the cover is installed I can’t see the old holes but the craftsmanship is lacking. Now the drain cover inside the tub is pushing up and it is now leaking. Again, poor craftsmanship. The service tech recommended not fixing the issue until the spring when it is warmer so we are stuck with the leak until then. Not very impressed for the price I paid $$$.
