This spa is the best investment my wife and I have made in a LONG, LONG time!!! I know there are no claims by Hot Springs that there are medicinal benefits to the ACE Salt System, but you won't convince us otherwise!

Bad IQ system

The IQ system has not worked correctly since we received the spa 2 months ago. We had a tech come out to tell us the electrical box was the problem. Our electrician disagreed. We replaced the box and gfi circuit breakers anyway. Now we are getting low chlorine and PH readings that are opposite of what the test strips indicate. This was verified by taking a water sample into the dealership. The latest is: we've turned off the IQ system for a week to see if it will calibrate itself.

Great hot tub with nice lighting and stong jets. All the seats are very comfortable and work on different parts of the body. Balancing the chemicals was pretty straight forward and then the IQ System will take over. Great spa for the money and dealer support from Georgia Spa Company has been very good.

Good Hot Tub

The Pulse checked most of our boxes when shopping around. Now that we have had a chance to use it, we are happy with our purchase. The jet system is easy enough to figure out, though some kind of indicator on the main point of the triangular knob of the diverter would be helpful. The seats are comfortable, the jets feel nice once you have them dialed in, and the salt system keeps you free from that strong smell that gets on your skin in chlorine tubs. The IQ system has worked well for us and seems to consistently match the strips. The wireless spa connect kit has minimal function and I would not recommend this “upgrade”. Overall, the Pulse is a great hot tub.

Ok but maybe not worth the price

We enjoy the spa regularly. We do not recommend the water iq system. The iq isn’t high. Ha. But seriously, it always reads the salt as high, it will tell me to empty the tub start again (I have twice in the two months we had it), and put in two cups of salt. I know this game, so I’ll put in maybe half cup and it will still read high and never has chlorine. I’m rather over all that. Wish I got a cheaper chlorine system. Salt and the iq was a waste of money. Otherwise, we live the larger tub and jets. The lights are fun. I would say for shorter people it may be slightly harder not to float but worth the deeper tub for us. The cleaning cycle doesn’t work all that well, it will require a vacuum and some quiet dealing with cleaning and chemicals despite what they tell you!!! Ps. We had the top with the lift that goes up and it seemed ok, but we needed and actually ordered the top that goes behind. Once we got it, the top is light add doesn’t seem like it will last at all. Seems very cheap.

This one is everything you need! I got the freshwater IQ and it is completely worth it. Also I love being able to control all of the jets and truly personalize each seat to what I want and need. You can’t go wrong with this tub!

Salt system seems to be a joke !!

The slat system has never worked from day one !! I have worked with the dealer for two weeks the salesman has been great trying to help me over the phone as much as he can but to no avail.
This hot tub has been nothing but a pain in the butt and not worth the money I spent on it !! Should have never went with the salt system !!!

It shouldn't be this complicated

I purchased a HotSprings Spa for my husband's 50th birthday. We own a 28,000 gallon saltwater pool and it is much easier to care for than this spa. First, we didn't get very good initial service or direction once they delivered it. They scratched our newly painted deck. They never told us that if we had hard water we would need an attachment for our hose that costs about $500 or more. Or we would have to purchase the pillows from HotSprings that are ridiculously expensive. The chemicals are difficult to keep maintained. We have to use so many dip strips. We've had to drain our tub after 2 months and will likely have to do it again which has cost so much money. I wish we would've just gone with a chlorine spa because it would've been cheaper and likely easier. The surprise 50th birthday gift has been nothing but a disappointment.

I’ve had four hot tubs in the past and this is by far the best experience I’ve had with both the dealer, the sales people, and the overall sales process and product quality. this is the first salt system I’ve used and I’m still a little bit undecided. It seems to not work perfect yet and need some work to get through the newness, but I am continuing to be patient and hoping to see some improvements moving forward. I also think Warranty is not very good. The manufacturer should offer a higher and longer warranty if they’re going to support a quality product.

We are a busy family. Between work, school, and exercising we are always on the go. Through the years we've needed therapy from chiropractic to massage, you name it we've done it. We have had an inflatable hot tub for years and finally decided to get a “real” hot tub. One we can keep up all year round. We are very happy that we got the surround sound package and LOVE the spa all together. We have pretty much used it every day since we got it.

We have the freshwater (salt water) version of the Pulse spa - it was super simple to set up initally and get the salt level correct. Maintenance is almost zero - clean filters, check salt level, check ph (etc). Then change the water next year. We had 2 chlorine based spas in the past, and they required a lot more maintenance, weekly. And no chlorine skin rashes with this one. Highly recommend this spa.

Just bought a 2024 Pulse and absolutely love it! The versatility of jets, including the foot jets, is fabulous. The set-up was as simple as can be, including water chemistry and the salt system. We have the Smart IQ system and had the tub balanced and in spec right away. Delivery, set-up, electric install, all went perfectly. It was simply meant to be!!!
