Wish it had a wireless controller option. The std Pulse controller is a little limited in features.
Wish it did NOT have a wood base frame. Wood will rot over time. Wish it was composite material that will NOT absorb water.
Wish it had more jet spray options. Only has three jet modes from controller.
Wish it had lights on the bottom of the shell to enhance the looks.

I was a hot tub virgin but once I got the salt system working at the right setting it was so easy to maintain. I would well recommend a hot tub to anyone that just wants to relax after a hard days work, I am sure that there is no better way. Yours Sincerely a very relaxed and satisfied customer Graeme

The lights are supposed to be the hot tub's notable feature and they do not work. We keep finding broken light caps at the bottom of the hot tub and since that time none of the lights operate - In fact the only two that do are ones with missing light caps...one blue and one re and neither ever turn off. We understand and fear that the cost to fix is high and reoccurring.

We are first time spa owners who spent hours researching major spa manufacturers and decided to purchase a HotSpring Pulse floor model from Seven Seas Pools and Spas. Our salesperson patiently addressed our questions and concerns, and the price for this quality spa was amazing. We have been tubbing for 3.5 months and this has been one of the only therapies that have helped my fibromyalgia pain and associated insomnia as we use our spa almost every night. The jets can be adjusted to just the right angle and pressure for a perfect hydro therapy massage. As for the waterfall feature, I thought it was just decorative, but the action of the water falling over my neck muscles, combined with the ambiance of the tranquil lighting, provides a perfect spa experience. We live in the Pittsburgh, PA area and used the spa during 0 degrees, and the power consumption was minimal. Our beautiful Pulse is also a magical oasis away from the cares of the world to enjoy relaxing time with family. WE LOVE OUR HOTSPRING PULSE SPA!

I absolutely love my hot tub! Purchased it in 2009 and the only issue we have ever had was with the lights. We had them replaced under warranty twice and they are now out again and we cant seem to locate anything in the online manual on how to replace/repair them. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I purchased this tub as indicated and have been using it since mid October 2012. I have the ACE™ system. Based on the "sales pitch" I did not expect to replace the ACE™ Ag+ cartridge for at least a few years. After experiencing some problems upon refilling , I arranged a service call. This revealed that the cartridge was already failed and needed to be replaced. In addition, they replaced the motherboard for the ACE™ system. Luckily, the latter was at no cost for the part as they indicated it was an upgrade from HotSpring that was needed (I also wonder if I would have been advised of this if I did not need service?). However the cartridge was a huge surprise and disappointment. I am pretty diligent at maintaining/testing the water (I keep a detailed spreadsheet for each month noting all readings, adjustments, and costs). It is up and running now, but almost $800 later. If that's the additional annual cost (over and above normal maintenance) to have a saltwater tub from HotSpring it may very well be the last one I purchase or recommend. The description at the dealer really made the system seem very simple to maintain (“The green indicator will basically tell you when the system needs attention”, to paraphrase their words). As time passes, I am finding it is not entirely the case. The manual has slightly different limits than the ACE™ manual. The limits on the test strip containers are in turn slightly different as well. Add to that, the technician has now given me his recommended limits with the new motherboard installed. Confusing to say the least. Then one day (at about 18 months in) I noticed that the power was out on the unit. I checked the GFCI breaker and the 30 amp was tripped. I could not reset it. My dealer sent a service technician out the next day. What he found was the circulating pump had failed. So he replaced it. Fortunately the pump was still on warranty and there was no charge for the repair. However, this brings up additional concerns. In less than 18 months I’ve now had the ACE™ Cell, control panel motherboard, and a circulating pump replaced. That is a lot of additional maintenance and cost that I would expect for such a new unit. But it doesn't stop there. We were away for one month and adjusted the usage settings appropriately per the service technician’s guidance. When we returned all seemed fine. I had a water sample tested and made a few minor adjustments based on the water test results. The next day my 30 amp breaker was tripped and it would not reset. I placed a service call and once again, the same circulation pump was faulty and had to be replaced. Luckily, it was still on warranty. However these repeated problems on such a new spa are becoming a serious concern. I am afraid to leave it unattended for even 2-3 days in the winter for fear of it shutting down and completely freezing up. In addition, once the warranty is expired, how much money am I going to have to pour into it every year above and beyond normal maintenance? It is blatantly clear that Hot Springs are not willing to compensate me for the cost of the first failure (ACE™ cell) because it was past the warranty. Their consolation to me is that "Your Limelight Pulse 2012 model spa comes with a 5-year warranty on components, no-fault heater, spa’s shell, and plumbing leaks." That’s their answer? How about addressing what is clearly a problem with the product? I have zero confidence it the reliability of this product now. I have asked them if they would at least put a note in my file that may allow additional coverage/considerations outside of the normal warranty period should these recurring problems continue beyond the warranty period. Since I contacted them about this third failure (2 weeks ago) they have not even responded to acknowledge my concern. How's that for service! I am very disappointed having to incur this significant cost and hassle after only 18 months of use. At this point I suppose I have no choice but to stay the course and hope for the best. However, when replacement and/or upgrading time comes, I will certainly shop around and look at alternative saltwater spa options. In addition, when asked by friends and family about my satisfaction with the spa, I will be completely honest. Honestly, when it’s operating well, we love it. However, maintenance is not as easy as the dealer lead us to believe, and this last incident should be a red flag for anyone considering purchasing this system. Be warned.

We've had our spa for 6 weeks and have really enjoyed using the various spa features. We had the ACE system installed two weeks after delivery and set up. Therein lies the problem. Since installing the ACE we continue to experience a blinking service light, which usually resolves if we clean the cartridge. This occurs at least weekly for this device, which is marketed as requiring service monthly! As advertised, chemical use has been minimal . Overall, this spa is everything we were hoping for (assuming the ACE system straightens out!).

Purchased in July of ' 2008 - Had problems with lights from day one - now out of warranty and still don't work - had all lights and controllers change 2X under warranty but it never fixed problem - tub shuts down on its own every couple of days - Circulating pump change first year due to leak - had a Savannah tub before this one - at half the price never had a problem and better warranty. Had to leave that tub behind when we moved - for our 2nd hot tub decided to go with Hot Springs Limelight Pulse - would never buy a Hot Springs again -

When we use our HotSpring hot tub we usually do not use the highest jet setting unless we really need it cause it is so powerful it lifts you right out of your seat unless your hanging on and using your feet to lock in. I really like the dark brown outer walls and cover too, great look!

Our Hot Springs Pulse Spa was our first spa purchase. It was easy to set up and customer service was helpful with any questions I had. It is a great way to relax after work, a work out, or to socialize with friends.

I bought my pulse in may 2008,Loved the tub for the first 2 months and then it began!Nothing but trouble with the lights.The tub was empty more then full between the service tech coming to fix it and the dealer taking it away to replace all the lights due to a factory Improvement to the lights.Well that failed also!Due to many emails and persistents Watkins Replaced the tub with a New 2010 Pulse!After months of enjoyment the lights started breaking again.Now I'm told the tub is out of warranty and I have to pay to fix the lights! No doubt in my mind that there was a design flaw as all the lights break the same way!New lighting design in the New tubs!Maybe Watkins is Knows something about the old design!

We got our tub last November and have been in love with it ever since. The adjustable hydromassage jets are wonderful. I love that I can change the larger and medium size jets from a steady stream of pressure to the rotating action. We are first time spa owners but have found the water care essentially a breeze. We have the ACE system. Once the salt was added in the beginning, we only had to add a scoop of chlorine 1-2 times a week and lo-n-slow 1-2 times a month. We clean the filter ever couple months or so and the water has been consistently clear. We did find if the water was too low (and not high enough to reach the filter) then the water will get cloudy, but with the water at the right height we haven't had a problem. I do wish you could have more power to all of the jets at one time, especially when the tub is full of people, but then that would also increase the energy cost so I am ok with how that works out. Another feature that would be nice is when you are in one of the corner chairs with the calf massage, to have the foot have jets that would hit your feet. In this chair, either my calves get the massage or I need to move off the calf massage to get the foot jets to hit my feet. Overall though, this spa has been amazing and I sleep so much better.

We've had this tub for about 4.5 years now. From the beginning we've had issues with the lights (the great idea). They've been replaced under warranty twice and now that its out of warranty I'm gonna have to foot the bill. Also the water feature lighting broke and the silicone around it started peeling away from the beginning. We've also had to replace all of the pillows and the screws that were holding the pillow brackets to the tub due to rusting, yes I've kept the water ph at the correct levels.
I'm gonna call to see if I can get some assistance with fixing the lights yet again.

within the first year one pump had to be replaced. less then 4 years into ownership 1,500 in repairs needed. ligths don't work, wet in's bad, heater is leaking, cover is shot. I will say the company did give replacement parts for free to repair but i've owned other hot tubs and never had this many thing go wrong in less then 4 years. Evergreen spa is a great place to buy a hot tub because they will go the extra mile to take care of their customers. in 2009 it only got a 3 year warranty but now has a 5 year warranty.
