We’ve had our hot tub for about a year and a half and absolutely love it! Thank goodness we had it during quarantine, we used it almost every evening as a way to relax and still use it almost every day. Once I learned how to care for the water chemistry, it became very simple and easy to do. My only complaint is that we are having to replace the ion cartridges every 4-5 months and they are expensive.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this piece of trash, over and over and over again I’ve had problems with leaks, jets popping off, and now all the motors are bad… I wish I would’ve just bought a Jacuzzi! I’m even hesitant to repair it vs just buying a different hot tub. What will go wrong next?

We love our Limelite Hot Springs Spa. It is a great quality unit. The only issue I have is the water. I have watched hours of videos on setting up the salt water system with no success. The initial setup I will take blame for as I did realize balancing the water meant getting the PH right before you did anything else. I never got the salt system to generate residual chlorine. After 8 months, I started over. This time I did it right and after a few days it started making its own Chlorine. I wouldnt even let anyone use the tub until it did. Once we started using it after a few weeks, it stopped making Chlorine and said I needed to replace the salt cartridge. (They are not cheap) But I figured since it was a new water change, maybe it eats up the cartridge. Put a new one in and still nothing. So I have to add chlorine or PH up daily to keep the water right. Water is clear and nice, but the salt system isnt working and honestly it makes a mess once the splash dries. The salinity is perfect (even bought a meter to test it since the strips are so subjective) My dealer just gives me lots of reasons why its not working (like my water needs detailed testing from a pool store and its off for one reason or another and said they will come do a service call, but its not been right since day one) I will probably just drain it and refill not using the salt system.

I have had the spa for over 4 months and the salt system hasn’t worked since day one. Would never buy another hot springs salt spa. Seems like the communication with my dealer and hot springs can’t solve the problem. If this was a car it would fall into the lemon law clause.

After a year of research, we decided to buy the HotSpring Pulse hot tub in the Limelight collection. It uses the saltwater system, and I am so happy with it. I have muscular aches, and I like the depth and width of the Pulse. I am able to move around to various seats (and even to the floor) to massage every part of my body that needs a massage. I’ve purchased a number of massage machines in the past, with limited success. Now that I use the Pulse, I no longer need them. It’s a beautifully designed hot tub, and it has been very easy to keep up. The lights at night add a fun ambiance. I highly recommend this hot tub.

Everything seems cheap with this tub. The jet covers blow off almost daily. The diverter switch sucks air, leaks water, and is extremely loud. We can’t use the jets on high because the air valve buzzes and rattles. We just bought it and already want to get rid of it.

We just finally got our tub a couple of weeks ago (took 3 months longer than originally expected per dealer). So far we love the tub and are getting lots of use! I agree with one other review I read, I just wish it had one seat that included jets for calves/hands (like the Prism has). Also it would be a plus if there were some dedicated spots for drinks to sit that I see in some other tubs. Not a big deal, but some thoughts. The only disappointment I have so far is our lifter for the cover did not come when the tub did. Our dealer is telling us that they have no clue when and could be months. That is frustrating since I waited 6 month for the tub already. I am concerned that the edge of my cover will get damaged in the meantime since we keep having to set it down on the ground each time. It also makes it impossible to open and close with just one person. Any help we can get to from Hot Springs to get this delivered to us ASAP would be most appreciated.

I previously owned a HotSpring Grandee at my vacation home 15 years ago. When we purchased a new primary residence, and then COVID hit, we knew we'd be spending a lot of time in the backyard. The kids were begging for a hot tub. So I did my research and came back to HotSpring for quality, longevity, design and efficiency.
Due to the pandemic there was a 5-8 month wait for their spas, depending on whether I wanted custom or not. I opted for what was available and am happy to say it fits our backyard perfectly. Everyone has said "best purchase ever," and we've enjoyed many hours in the two months we've owned it. Running the jets at maximum is an energy drain (like running two hair dryers), but keeping it at a steady 100 degrees even in the cold northeast winter has had little impact on our overall energy bill. The quality of construction and variety of jets, lighting, cover lifter and relative ease of water maintenance have all been well worth the wait -- Everything I loved about my original spa and more, now with exterior lights!

Everyone loves the hot tub.

We purchased the Pulse in May 2020 as a way to relax as a family during the pandemic. Its jets are very powerful. The water has stayed clear. I take measurements weekly. No problems at all with the tub over 9 months. I didn't think I was the hot tub type, being a tail end boomer, but my wife and teenage boys always enjoyed them on vacations. So when our summer vacation plans were ruined in 2020 we decided to get a tub of our own. I really should have done so years ago. I didn't think I'd use it, but I became the most frequent user. This morning the outside temp was about 29 when I dipped into the tub kept at 100 degrees. I looked out over our yard to a flock of geese sitting on ice on the edge of the bay. I enjoy the outdoors more in the winter now. My only beef is that the salt water cartridges are pricey and they seem to expire a little sooner than expected. I still need to add a couple of tablespoons of chlorine weekly. But overall, this was a very nice purchase for all of us. Can't wait to share it with others when the virus is defeated!

Problems with FreshWater system

Similar to a couple other reviews here, we've had to replace our cartridge for the FreshWater salt system about every 4 to 6 weeks. The dealer has given us replacements for free, but having the salt system shut down and stop working after only a few weeks has been very bothersome.
Additionally, my first review here was deleted by HotSprings because "it did not meet guidelines" saying I listed pricing and had shipping complaints. I included an approx price of the catridges, because people should understand when reading the review that this part that needs to be replaced unusually frequently is not cheap, and I was responding directly to someone else's review where they listed a price as well. I did not have any shipping complaints.

I purchased this in November of 2019. Because of Covid it was finally delivered in October 2020. What perfect timing. The Prism exceeded my expectations. Expect around $20 a month just to circulate/heat the water at 102 degrees. I built a non heated building around it to eliminate wind chill, minimize unauthorized use, sabotage and increase privacy. I use it everyday for 20 minutes with pumps on high. My wife uses it 2-3 times a week. We pay about $45 a month additional to operate. That’s affordable. No buyers remorse. Great tub. Worth every penny. No need to spend more.
