All has been super nice. Don’t do well with salt system though. Also pay a lot of attention to who you buy from. They should be supportive even after you purchase!!

First off I want to mention that Danielle, the sales person that I have been in constant contact with has been great. She has been kind, considerate and very forthcoming with the issues i have been having and willing to help as much as she could with the issues I have had with my hot tub. Snake river pool and spa are lucky to have her as an employee. I have had my tub for about 5 months using the salt water system. It has not worked as advertised since day 1. This is what the website states. This easy-to-use system eliminates the worry of keeping water clean, clear and sanitized for a full year. With just a little salt in your spa water, the system generates chlorine automatically and keeps water feeling soft without harsh chemical odor. This unique system makes spa ownership easier than ever by removing the guesswork and hassle of water care maintenance. This has not been the case for me, it has been weekly conversations with Danielle and multiple service calls due to minimal to no chlorine levels, salt system inactive, it has been constant guesswork with water care maintenance. Snake River pool and spa are very well aware of the issues related to this particular salt water system and they do not have a solution at this time, other than wait it out until the cartridge component gets fixed. I would not recommend purchasing a tub with this feature at this time, I feel like there should have been more extensive quality assurance measures taken before putting this system out on the floor for purchase.

Informational replies would help many of us
Posted December 28, 2021
I see numerous comments regarding chemistry and how the chlorine generators are not working, jets are rusting because of bad chemistry and replies from Hot Spring saying an email would be coming soon to hopefully help the frustrated owners. To that point, if you would generate some dialogue in the reviews that explains what you are recommending (generally, with different options for other potentials) it would help people like me, decide if I want to buy one of your spas. At this time, I see too many complaints about chemistry to buy a salt water spa but if you were to explain the causes and solutions to the general public, sales might go up when people feel comfortable with the possibility of success with an expensive spa like this. Straight forward advice to potential owners would benefit new customers as well as existing I believe.

We always thought about buying a hot tub for many years and we finally took the plunge and purchased one and it was the best investment ever. No more sore and achy joints and our sleep has improved due to the relaxing hot water every night. We purchased our tub from Watson's in Kentucky and our sales guy Brent was excellent he not only answered all of our questions but also gave us info we didn't even think about unlike a few of the other dealers.

We loved the look of this hot tub and loved the features. Unfortunately since having it delivered there have been a few issues. The first time we filled it, we found two jets were not working at all. The dealer suggested we poke around with a pipe cleaner and see if we can dislodge whatever might be clogging it. After poking around, some caulking came out, and the jets started working but were weaker than the other jets in the same area. While trying to get these jets unclogged we discovered some directional jets that were cracked. We called the dealer and they sent out a repair tech. He ordered 30 new nozzles to replace all of these smaller directional jets that appeared to be weakened or just manufactured too thin. In order to replace them, we would have to drain the tub, but we had only had it for two weeks so we decided to wait until the next time the water needs to be replaced. Now one of the LED lights is not working. Not a big deal but not a great sign for longevity. The cover does not seal well so steam and evaporation comes out of some gaps, and the cover pools water on top. The tech said it was installed properly but it seems odd for a $14k tub to not come with a decent cover. Overall we like the look but the quality does not seem worth the price. Granted we have only had it for about a couple months, but not a great indication to have this many issues right off the bat.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to make sure that you are getting the most from your spa. The air controller for the lounger is to the left of the lounge within arms reach, the control screen can rotate, so it is right-side-up while in the spa, and you can use a spa handrail to assist you getting in and out of the spa. I will make sure to pass along your review to our team. Happy Hot Tubbing!

our tub is 2 months old. i have the boost set at 9. the water has turned green 2 times i have cleaned the filters twice. I have had to add all the chlorine and salt that came with the tub just to try and keep the thing happy. the electric bill has gone up $100 a month. i also added one of those silver sticks to the filters.the dealer has tried to help but this thing is a full time job. we live in a brand new neighborhood so the green water is NOT from copper pipes. the next time the weather is good i'm going to change the water. i will take any help any one can give me.

Understand issue green water

Well u may not like it but here is my suggestions. Heavy use and dirty bodies play heck on water quality. I have two spas (vac home) and the old ace system seem to chlorinate better than new. We always rinse off in shower before entering spa.... we also lightly wash bathing suits (use little detergent in washing them) if more than two get in tub i shock with two level table spoons chlorine concentrate after use..If you think you can use ace boost to heavy chlorinate after use u are wasting time and using up your ace cartridge. Just add chlorine..if water gets cloudy you got particulate or calcium scale....check Ph and hardness.......i replace water about every 4 months......by the way if you keep hottub hot say 104 it will use the chlorine much faster than 80..... i dial vac home down to 80 F when not there......spa anti foam agents dont work well and i think hurt water clearness.....if old ace system make sure u clean cell monthly....hope u figure your system out......my bet is you just had heavy use as all new spa owners do......mike

We love our spa; the number of jets and the power of the water flow are awesome! Very relaxing. Figuring out the water care has been challenging and Northwest Hot Springs has been good to work with. Somewhat disappointing has been the initial set up where the front panel required replacement. A new door was ordered but it still wasn't right, requiring two more visits from the tech to get it installed properly. Turns out the routing of the electrical conduit impedes the installation of the panel. At this point several of the screws that secure the panel were stripped. Not good. Also, within 6-7 months the recirculation pump needed to be replaced. The dealer was great about replacing this warranty item but it seems very premature for anything to need to be replaced in the first year. We are hopeful this unit lasts as long as it should.

My main complaint is that there is a motor that runs all of the time and is noisy when you are in the tub. Hard to really relax with the motor sound. Even after a year I still notice it whenever I’m in the tub. I didn’t hear it in the shop but it is annoying at home. It also has a bright light on the outside that can’t be dimmed. So if you like going outside at night and enjoying the peace and quiet of a starry night, you can’t do that in this tub. I also find the seating configuration not as comfortable as our old hottub. The HotSprings are nice but seem over priced for what you get.

The Flair has been great for our family of four. With five jetted seats and one "cool off" seat, there is plenty of room for all. The lounge seat is a favorite of Dad and son. The salt water system creates chlorine, so no more adding chemicals before you get in every time. It has been great to get in, enjoy some conversation, and relax together.

We do love this Hot Tub! It has brought much joy and relaxation! Just what the Dr. ordered!! The only stress we have with it is that we were told that the water care is minimal, This is not true. We also were told that it is a salt water system so LESS CHEMICALS... This is also untrue... We have to put at least 1/2 cup of Chlorine in every week or the water turns brown and there is no Chlorine. So this has been a huge learning curve and much more of a cost than We anticipated. Chemicals are expensive....
But Over All WE DO LOVE THIS HOT TUB!!! WISH WE COULD HAVE GONE BIGGER BUT WE JUST DID NOT HAVE THE SPACE!!
