This hot tub is wonderful, but I spent a year’s worth of savings on it and was disappointed to have it arrive with a gouge in the shell that had been covered by factory wrapping. I was told it was a warranty issue, but that doesn’t seem right. I can’t imagine driving a new car off a lot at full price with a gouge in the paint job. It will always bother me. I asked for consideration for a replacement tub or a discount and was rebuffed. Again, this will always bother me.

Love the tub. Upsetting that hot springs hot tubs of Long Beach Island delivered the tub with a broken glass on one of the corners. Told me they needed to order a part and have not replaced the broken glass after 6 months.

Best purchase! Great service throughout the process! Only downside was waiting on it due to production but my understanding is, they have added more production sites. If you are planning on purchasing, you won’t go wrong with model and with Hit Springs!!!

Limelight Flair - Salt Water is Great!

We have been in hot tubs before, but the Limelight Flair (salt water) is our first hot tub we have owned. We haven’t had any issues and over all very pleased with our purchase!
There are a few convenience things I wish were different or part of hot tub. 1. Of the 5 seating locations with jets, only 3 have padded head rest. Would be nice if all seats had them. 2. The waterfall feature would benefit in having a pressure regulator so that when you switch “Jet 1” from low to high the pressure of water would remain constant. The owners manual states to not have waterfall feature on when “Jet 1” is set to high as water will shoot across tub. 3. As mentioned this is our first hot tub, so not sure if this is comment is valid. When “Jet 2” is turned on (adding pressurized air and subsequent bubbles) there is only one setting, “high”. There are 3 different adjustment dials to regulate air flow by location, but “Jet 2” generates quite a bit of noise. It would be nice it had high-low settings to reduce the noise if/when desired.

Plenty of power, would be nice to have Low and High options for both pump 1 and 2 in the Limelight collection. The Salt System is kind of a letdown. It doesn't keep w/ even moderate usage, requiring extra chlorine even when left on 10. Works fine when very lightly used.

We are very satisfied with our spa purchase! The control panel is easy to understand and once we learned how to accommodate our water type, maintenance has been easy as well. My kids especially love the lights and like to go in at night and have a light party!

Great tub, but has its cons

Overall this is a great hot tub so far. The seats are relatively comfortable. The lounge needs improvement with jet position and the fact that you constantly float around in the seat makes it difficult to use. 2 days after delivery, one of the jet heads popped off. Great customer service through the dealer that sold out tub. Fixed very quick. A few times we noticed that if we run the jets on full blast and close the lid for a little while, the tub reached a temperature of 109 degrees when it was set to only 97-98 degrees. I’m not sure if the pumps generate this much heat with the lid being closed that it would increase the temperature that much? The lid was closed with jets running for just under an hour. The side frames of our hot tub on the outside do not lay flush and are wavy. Kind of like there are bumps on the wood frame preventing the siding from laying nice and flat. Also, the diverted knob that controls the jets from left side of tub to right side, is very loud and annoying. Not sure if this is normal or not either. I don’t know if it’s just not well insulated and allowing a lot of noise to come out of the knob or not but it is loud to me. Jets are very strong if you want them to be. The tub heats up to set temperature very quickly. We keep ours on 96 degrees to conserve energy and when we want to use it, I just turn the temp up about 15 minutes before getting in, and it’ll already be at 100+. The tub is very esthetically pleasing. The cover is nice. The lights are bright and perfectly located. The water fall is nice. I am still unsure of energy efficiency as we got it in winter and had a attic blast come through. Our electric bill went from 70 to 150 a month. We’re still waiting to see if the current bills balance out. Overall great hot tub but it has its cons.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a frustrating and complicated experience with your water care. Thank you for reaching out to me.
To address this issue, please check the expiration date of your test strips and follow the specific operational instructions. If you need new strips, please contact your dealer.
It's not uncommon for customers to use a different system for measuring their water chemistry levels. This is acceptable as long as it helps you obtain an accurate reading.
Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. Rest assured, I'll personally follow up with you to ensure that you're satisfied with your water care.
Happy hot tubbing!

I’ve had an awful experience with my purchase of the Limelight Flair from Mainely Tubs.. My brand new Hotsprings Limelight Flair has had the paneling fall off, interior light broken AND rusted JETS. Also balancing the water has been a nightmare resulting in multiple draining and refilling. It’s a salt water tub and the jets have rusted off. This of course is not covered by the WARRANTY! This is entirely unacceptable. What kind of company uses products that can rust in a salt water tub? Also, I was told the metal jets were purely for esthetics. Yeah, my tub looks fabulous full of rusty water with rusty jets.. Disgusting 🤮

Hot springs spa poorly glued and warped panels and terrible Warranty repairs on a new Flair

I bought a hot springs spa (Flair) that arrived in May of 2022. On arrival part of the panel was delaminating. My dealer ordered a new panel.
It took 6 months to arrive!
The worst was the new panel was warped worse than the other one. Now there is a large gap at the bottom of the tub where it isn’t flush with the base and it is super warped. They tried tightening it down but it is so warped the “L” brackets aren’t flush and stick out.
They (my dealer) blame the manufacturer for the delay in panels and say once again even though it is a warranty item, it could be another 6 months before I get a new panel. Not to mention on the first round of waiting for the panel there was zero correspondence from my dealer on when it would arrive. I was left to wonder and periodically email them.
It’s terrible quality. For something that cost over 10k you’d expect more. I wish I had bought another Sundance Hot Tub.
I regret purchasing a hot springs spa.

Everyone should know that a spa requires as much maintenance time as soaking time. Water chemistry can be frustrating, and it appears that our spa is now our second energy hog…. along with the freezer in the basement.

The flair is a wonderful hot tub with six seats and lots of adjustable jets. The only drawback is the lounger isn’t very comfortable for my wife. She has a hard time staying in place and is always trying to lock her legs in so she doesn’t float out of it. Next one won’t have the lounger.

When I received my spa it was in August there was a hole in the front panel. I was told that they would replace it. I am still waiting for the panel and it is the end of October
When I was shopping for the spa I told the retailer that this my first experience with a spa of any kind. They were very helpful before I bought it but I get no help from them after delivery. I am starting to understand my spa by going to the pool supply store by my house

Thank you for reaching out to us with your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you need a replacement panel for your new spa. Some items like panels can have a bit of a lead time due to them being manufactured as they are ordered. I'd be happy to look into this for you and see if there's anything we can do to help you and your dealer to resolve this for you. I'll be reaching out to you via email to get a bit more information from you. Please keep an eye out.
I look forward to working with you!
