Needs some fine tuning

We have had some time to use our new spa and would suggest some modifications. The seats do not have adequate spots for you to place your feet that are within reach and I am 6' tall. It would be rather awkward to have to entwine your legs with friends just so you can stay upright in your seat when the jets are on. The headrests are also not overly comfortable.

We ordered the Flair spa in June of 2021 told we would have to wait until April 2022 for delivery because of supply chain issues during COVID fortunately we got delivery in January. My sister have a HotSprings Spa up In Montana and loves it my brother use to have one and loved it. We have had it now for two months and use it every day. Maintenance is very easy with the Fresh Water Salt System. If you want the Best Buy HotSpings

Salt System Problems

I have followed the start up and maintenance guide to a T and can never get the panel to read correctly. I have balanced the water, taken it into get tested and had 2 services on my hot tub and I am still changing out salt cartridges every month and half. I do not even use the spa enough to warrant that kind of replacement time. If this is truly how the system works then that needs to be communicated to the consumer before they buy this system. I was told 4 times a year I would need to change the cartridge. I received my spa in August and it is now March and I am on my 4th cartridge.
I will say I have received excellent service from everyone that has come out to help maintain the spa. I have even had service charges waived, which I thoroughly appreciate. But I do feel mislead on how easy and cost efficient the maintenance would be. Just overall disappointed in what was a high price item that I believed would be equal in quality.

Our Flair spa is a daily treat after a long day to relax and unwind. Refreshing and really helps with sore joints and back. Wish we would have bought this sooner!

The Tub is everything I hoped for. Sonny from the NY Melville Store has been extremely receptive and helpful when I had questions about the tub/chemicals. Tub runs well and I don’t see any issues over the last 3 months.

I had a hot tub growing up and I loved it! Found out in the process of getting my current tub that it was also a Hotspring and that was a big selling point for me because that thing lasted forever and I fully intend to keep mine around for just as long.

High end therapy spa, corners cut

Exceptional spa; but cut corners on design/build of most used part of tub. The access panel!! Seven feet wide with 1 x 3 pine for structural stability across the top and bottom of panel. But the pine is made up of three pieces poorly cut with gaps between the pieces, glued and stapled together to the panel. The 2 inch bow (outward) makes the panel almost impossible to install by yourself. At $12,000 you should have used composite which is much more stable than the pine!! At least make the pine continuous so bowing could be minimized. The dealer wouldn't even come out and look. I took 4 hours to modify the panel integrity and make the alignment of 2 cheap clips and misaligned screw holes from factory!!

We love our hot tub! Only issues we have are the casings for some the jets keep coming off during use and water care. For the casings, it's an easy fix to just pop them back on. As for the water care, the instructions are really confusing as to what to use and when, and how to correct specific balance issues. The instructions on the chemical containers aren't very specific either. Since we are first time spa/hot tub buyers, I'm sure we'll figure it out as time goes on. But all said, it is a beautiful tub and worth every penny!

The spa is very comfortable. The jets work great.
After a couple weeks it heated up to 115 degrees. Called service and a couple days later a service guy replaced the heat sensor. No problems after that!
Even though it is a salt water system, it is a constant chore to maintain the correct water balance. pH is constantly drifting up and needs to be adjusted more than once a day in order to maintain correct balance. It is not easy to care for the water. Do not be fooled!

First, the actual tub comfort and jets are awesome. Unfortunately, the maintenance of this tub is extremely disappointing. Even if it worked correctly, which I will explain, the cost to maintain the salt system is crazy, which was not disclosed to us when we bought it. Second, the salt system just doesn’t work, or if it is working, as my dealer keeps telling me, then it is so finicky that it is a waste. The stress of trying to keep the system on, even though the chemistry is always good, makes this one of my most frustrating purchases in my life. It looks like I will be swapping out the expensive salt system for an ozone system, which the dealer is offering to do for free, but I am not getting a refund for my salt system (which we bought because we weee told that it would require LESS MAINTENANCE! I am sure the system is not functioning proper but the dealer maintains that it’s the chemistry. Hopefully, the ozone system will relieve my stress (which is why I bought the tub to begin with!)….

We love our hot tub. We get in every evening and are so relaxed the next day. I would recommend a hot tub if you are having aches and pains. Do you just enjoy the soothing sounds of water? The waterfall is a great extra touch. The jets and lights are an easy feature, our kiddos love it. Since we are in majority of the week, every three days we are monitoring the chemicals which is has been easy maintenance as well. I love our hot tub and would definitely recommend Lake Air Pool Supplies from Waco Texas, their customer service is outstanding and do not mind helping you with any questions. Their honesty and transparency go above and beyond. They show great team work and are awesome getting your tub set up and ready to use that same day. We are happy with our selection and business we get to build a relationship with.
