Can’t seem to get this right

This is the first hot tub I have purchased in my life and after conducting so much research we decided to go with a hot springs tub. When I first entered the store I made it really clear that I was looking for a tub that was easy maintenance as I have heard many nightmares from friends. We decided to go with the limelight collection and purchase the flash model. The sales rep also convinced me that purchasing the salt water one will make the care of this more simpler. Let it be known that 2 months into owning this I still don’t have a clear understanding on how to operate and maintain the system. To begin with the different knobs that operate certain Jets are not marked therefore is trial and error when attempting to adjust the the jets. Also, one jet has an available setting of low where at the other Jet is either a high option or off. Secondly I also seem to be struggling in getting the correct chlorine level to be maintained in the tub. The water can get cloudy after one use and therefor I have to use a lot of chlorine in order to keep the levels where they should be at. I was told that the salt system cartridge will help in maintaining the correct chlorine output. Also the salt system leaves a lot of residue on the sides and top of the tub therefore I have to constantly be cleaning it after every use. Lastly, I now have a blinking light telling me the salt level is low and I have to replace the cartridge within 2 months of use when I was told they normally have to be changed every four months. In a nutshell I’m not too happy with the purchase I made. Hot springs is a more expensive brand therefore I expected a better quality of product.

Such a great purchase

We have owned our spa for four months now and absolutely love it. It gets used every day. It is comfortable, relaxing and beautiful to look at. I love that we can pop in at any time without needing to wait for the temperature to be ready! Our experience with the HotSpring customer service has been terrific. From beginning to end, including the purchase of the spa, the delivery, walking us through setting it up and learning how to use it, they have made it very easy. I would definitely recommend purchasing a spa through the HotSprings dealers. We have often asked ourselves why we hadn't bought one sooner.

We use our spa every evening, in the rain, snow, sleet, and sunshine. Our old spa of 12 years began to leak. We went to LBI Hot Springs to look at a replacement. These folks showed us, different models, It was a no brainer as Hot Springs is the premier spa, and we decided on the flash because of its size and extraordinary features. In addition, it was saltwater.
This spa is so superior to our old one. The water testing is electronic. The spa monitors the salt level and water quality and it is very quiet. We love ours

I have owned hot tubs before and this is the best one yet. Easy to maintain and operate, looks sharp and high-quality, and has all the features that make it stand out (waterfall, interior and exterior color-wheel lights). I recommend the Flash (part of the limelight collection) as it has been great for the kids to enjoy as well as the adults.

I just purchased it and love it, all features are great. Wish the foot massage was a little more powerful but over-all we love it.
More to come as we enjoy the spa even more.

Salt water is the way to go.

Similar to a salt water pool except more salty. So it’s like bathing in an epsom salt bath. Aches and pains disappeared immediately. Love the fact that the water is ionized as well. I had an ionization pool and that was fabulous. This is equally so. Chemicals are very minimal. Water remains stable with very little effort. So a month in and no adjustments necessary. This makes it very easy to run compared to other equipment I’ve owned in the past. So far very impressed and pleased. Definitely recommend to anyone remotely considering this. Categorically you will not be disappointed at all.

Extremely satisfied with the creation of this spa. Everything was thought of including future expansion of the salt system. The construction is great quality, and the features are packed. If you're looking for a spa, make this the one. Open seating allows alot of extra room to entertain without the nudging of legs and toes. The spa to get.

Very enjoyable when you get in. However, there are no handles to grab when climbing into the spa. When the jets are on you can’t see the interior steps/seats and they are slippery.

Had tub going on one month. Little disappointed in how fast filters got dirty. But we run a small resort so tub gets more use than typical tub. Had thermostat go out in two weeks. Technician who repaired said manufacturer uses cheap plastic tipped thermostat.Makes me concerned about other parts if one is cheap. Replaced with a steel tipped unit. Time will tell but overall I would say cautiously happy. Salt water system very nice. Love minimal use of chemicals.
