Good Hot Tub

I've enjoyed this hot tub. I have not had any issues with it, other than the filter that came with it clogging up faster than expected, but I cannot I have purchased a new filter and not had this issue. I purchases the speakers in my hot tub and the sound is great and adds a little bit of relaxation.

Best hot tub for people with aches and pains

We have really enjoyed our new hot tub since it was installed this spring. We have used it in the mornings for fitness workouts aches and pains and in the evenings to look at the stars. We have also used it as an incentive for grandkids after swimming in our cold lake. We are very happy with this purchase!

The Limelight Flash in silver is beautiful, comfortable, and low maintenance. The salt system is amazing, I'm so glad I got it. Once the water is balanced I only check the chlorine level and pH once a week or so and adjust the salt system level and pH accordingly. I haven't changed the water yet and I've had the tub for 15 months. During the summer I have the system on level 1 or 2 and it basically takes care of itself.
The tub itself was quite expensive and for the price paid should have come with the sound system. The salt cartridges are outrageously expensive and need to be changed every 4 months.

Fantastic tub! Purchased in the middle of the pandemic so it took 6+ months to be delivered but that is understandable. Salt system cartridges were defective at first so I was pumping in chemicals left and right to begin with. Technician finally came out and had to change something with the electrical components. After that fix, the water has been crystal clear with minimal maintenance required. Looking forward to the fall to enjoy it even more!

We have the Limelight Flash. Absolutely love this spa. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and the jets are awesome! Absolutely love the foot jets. Hot tub is very easy to control and the salt system is easy to manage. Only complaint is the salt cells. Had one go bad after 1 month. Dealer replaced free of charge. All in, love this spa!

This is my fourth Hotsprings tub and I have referred quite a few friends to only buy Hotsprings! My only negative is that the warranty does not go with the tub if you sell it or if you buy a used one, no warranty! This policy needs to change. Otherwise, a good value and a well built tub.

I'm glad my wife pushed me into buying the spa. We talked it over almost an entire winter and I wasn't sure about the price or if we'd get our money's worth since its hot here at least 8 months of the year. So worth it, in the summer you can turn the heat all the way down & use it as a cool tub. I would recommend to anyone, best purchase ever.

We are enjoying the hot tub, but the paint/coating on the wooden base started coming of right away. Since the base is wood, I am fearful that it is absorbing moisture and will not last very long since the coating has worn off in a few places already. We bought the hot tub in November 2020. I was surprised to discover that the base is wood for the foundation of an outdoor product.

Limelight Flash... 3 years later

Well after 3 years of ownership of the limelight flash I can tell you it's a great hot tub but it's already starting to show its age. There is moisture inside the LCD panel, two of the side faux wood panels are already bowing at the bottom and the hot tub sits on a large 8-in concrete pad so no moisture is around it, and my subwoofer already went out on my upgraded sound system. The hot tub works fine, jets, heater, etc. But the exterior is really showing a beating.

I found the ease of removing compartment cover not easy at all. It’s a pain to try and get it to line up by yourself. It’s too big to handle yourself. And Why is the framing still lumber? Due to weather and rain the framing that sits on pad will rot. Why would you not make all your tubs with polymer as in your higher model. Looks are great,lighting is great. Set up was easy. Just a few things I would change, cover and base.

The spa, sales team and installation team were professional and talented. The tub arrived on the date and time scheduled, it was installed and the electrician came the same day to get the spa powered on. The next day we met with our sales representative and he guided us through start up and chemical addition process and order. We really enjoy it, glad we went with Hot Springs in Austin

Love this hot tub!

Bought a Limelight Flash model a little over a year ago right before Covid and that turned out to be the best decision ever! It was delivered and up and running right before the pandemic closed everything down. We use it 3-4 times a week, sometimes more and absolutely love it! It's so much fun in the cold weather and snow. We bought ours with the salt water system, which means maintenance is a snap. Water quality is never an issue and only once in awhile do chemical levels have to be adjusted. Salt cartridges generally last me less than the 4 months Hot Springs say that they do. It also depends how high you run set your salt input. I've had to learn through trial and error which level is best, and my optimal level is 7, so cartridges generally last me around 2.5 - 3 months. I wouldn't go any other way than a saltwater system. I have a salt water pool too. Would highly recommend a Hot Springs hot tub to anyone!

salt system is not functioning as promised

We have same issue with our Flash that we have only had for 16 months. Our last cartridge only lasted 48 days. We test our water maintain the proper levels of salt, chlorine, etc. and use it on average 2X a week. We were sold on low maintenance and while the cartridges are ridiculously expensive, we were generally ok with the manufacture claim that they last 4 months. They do not and that is a real problem. I agree with this customer we were “sold a bad bill of goods and Hot Springs needs to address and stand by a very apparent design flaw in their saltwater design. Fix the problem Hot Spring and instill confidence in your product. If you know this is a problem, why are you still selling it?”
If the issues are not addressed, we may need to consider seeking counsel and a possible class action lawsuit.
At this time, I also would not recommend this product to anyone who is expecting the saltwater system to perform.

There are a few important steps that you must not miss to ensure your water care remains balanced. You can find these all in your salt systems owner’s manual at startup.
Test Fill Water. Before filling your spa, take a sample of your fill water to your local dealer for testing to determine if your water contains high levels of metals, phosphates, and/or calcium.
The importance of this step: it is critical to remove any metals that will interfere with your spa and the salt system. Making sure to take care of this problem at first is the foundation of a healthy water care regiment.
Establishing a residual chlorine reading at start-up. Once the start-up levels are set, the system will automatically infuse chlorine into the water as directed by your setting.
Salt system output level Observe your spa usage patterns and measure the chlorine level to guide your output level. Adjust output level up or down to increase or decrease output.
