We have had so many problems with this hot tub. We set the temperature lock at 96 degrees and within 2hours (at night) it goes to 102 degrees. Georgia Spa has been out several times and has no idea how to fix the issue. One time it got to 105 degrees. It's going to kill someone. This should be a recall.

I’m a previous Hot Springs customer so I knew what to expect and even though we did a lot of research with other brands and models, we always came back to Hot Springs!! And boy are we glad we did. The size, scope and ease of maintenance are amazing! We are a 6 person family so we needed a big hot tub, so we went with the biggest. It’s absolutely beautiful, everyone loves it, and we use it everyday!!

Poorly assembled Prism

I was looking to purchase a second hot tub and was persuaded to buy what was supposed to be the best of the best. Added the stereo (it has one speaker in the water???) and salt water system. My Prism arrived with corner trim falling off and the side and back panels are bowed. With the bare wood on the corners and gap created by the bow I am sure some weather gets in but it would appear that mice have chewed thru the wiring.. The wiring is yet to be replaced and the replacement panels which took 8 months to receive didn't fit. I now have insulation and pieces of wiring cover all over the patio around the hot tub. The salt water system is ok but the cost is definitely more than just using chlorine. Also surprised that all of the seats can't have flow at the same time the way the diverter is set up. I am very disappointed in the quality for the price as my old tub has never given me any problems.

I'd like to address the concerns you have mentioned. The spa speakers are designed to withstand water splashes, but they are not meant to be submerged. The water level in the spa should be just above the highest level below the pillows.
Unfortunately, pests can sometimes be a problem, especially in warm environments. It is recommended to take preventive measures to keep them away.
The Prism spa can be connected as 230 volt 70 amp, providing extra voltage for the lounger jets and heat to function simultaneously.
We understand the importance of providing you with the support you deserve. Please look out for an email from me, and I look forward to working with you soon.

We've had our hot tub for about 8 months. Keeping the water chemically balanced is definitely on a learning curve (more like vertical). Hot tub prices in the USA have increased at least 50% in the last 2-3 years so, yeah, there is LITTLE value for dollar across the board with hot tubs in general. I'd give HotSpring a three-star rating but hey, they're probably following the pack with supply chain issues, incredibly HIGH demand for their hot tubs and of course the ever reliable..."due to COVID" that appears to be ubiquitous with American businesses these days. I use it 2-3 times a week and I've got to say its nice that I can use it right in our backyard.

Not worth the money

$20k+ for a hot tub that CANNOT maintain temperature while in use for 1hour in 50 degree weather. We have the 70amp setup so the heater can be used continuously with all the jets running, but that doesn't help maintain temperature. The tub can't maintain temperature with all jets off and much less on in 50 degree weather. For whatever reason, hot springs opted for a 4000W heater for 525gl tub vs 6000W heater on smaller tubs. I have never had a problem with INCREASING temperature while using a hot tub. That will simply NEVER be an option in this tub. You have to set it at the temperature you want to get in at and be prepared to get out colder than you got in. Totally unacceptable!

We strongly believe that relaxing in a hot tub is a wonderful benefit. Many hot tub enthusiasts practice hot water therapy regularly.
Our spas are designed with excellent insulation and a high R rating. However, when the cover is open, heat can be lost, and the recovery of the lost heat may vary depending on factors such as the spa's operation, ambient temperature, and the duration of the spa being open.
The jets in the hot tub can pull in cool air and affect the water temperature. Operating the jets off can help the water retain its heat longer. But, external conditions can still impact the overall water temperature.
The heater in the spa will turn on or off when the temperature changes within two degrees of the set temperature. Some customers account for this two-degree variation and set the spa accordingly.

Amazing energy efficiency

I love my Prism. Honestly I was expecting to pay about the same as an AC unit in electricity costs. I was so surprised when the bill hit and it was only $10 more a month and it continued during the cold months 10 degrees outside and left my spa at 102 all month. Open to the elements covered patio and still haven’t seen any hit to the electric bill

New Prism Hot Tub Owner

We finally got our hot tub. Balancing and warming the water is relatively straight forward. Insert your problem here (COVID, Supply chain issues, etc.) we paid a premium for this Hot Tub. It works as advertised but the main problem has to do with the hot tub access panel: Very clearly a cheaply made. The slots that hold the access panel in place at plastic clips. Also, there are 8 female brass screw receptors which are installed at an angle. 4 of these were barely hanging on which means that the hot tub cover doesn’t close because these were forced in by the installation crew at HotSpring. C’mon HotSpring - Who supervises your final Quality Control (QC) team members? We paid a ton of money for this equipment and the final assembly has much to be desired!

We paid Full Retail because the dealer is a friend , we have tried several different micron filters and the thing still goes into shut-down .. have had extensive warranty work done , thankfully our friend takes care of it .. speakers are just Ok .. we had a Cal Spa before this one thought this was an upgrade .. we were wrong .. it's nice when it works .. Yes , we have great water quality and we maintain it ..

We are very pleased with our Hot Springs spa. The ease of use (maintenance) is a major benefit regarding overall enjoyment. The controls are excellent. The automated cleaning is great and we really enjoy the salt water aspects of less chemicals. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product!

Awesome comfort and ease of care

We love it! We have two children (7&12yo) who love it as well. This spa has enough room for all of us to relax and not bump into each other nor making the kids sit totally still. The kids can still goof around and we can all still enjoy the times together. The easiest part is maintaining water quality and chemicals. Almost no work. We actually laugh at what we call wasting test strips. We do have the salt system on it and highly recommend same. It's a beautiful machine and very therapeutic. We have recommended it to others and have let them try it. Everyone loved the size, seating and appearance. Great spa.

Overall we love our new hot tub. We wanted.something larger and love all the areas we have. We wish we had more avilable videos as it has taken us a full 2 months to figure out or salt water system, as our local Richard's Spa that sold it dis not tell us what we needed to know. When laying this much we wish the manufacturer would have made videos showing us the ins and outs. We are learning along the way

We bought this same model spa in 2019 for our home in SoCal and we lived in this spa daily along with our neighbors. We moved to Brentwood, Tennessee and missed our family time and relaxation watching the sunrise and sunsets. We couldn’t imagine not having this spa. We love the salt water option, many changing color lights, over 70 jets and 4 speakers to play our summer tunes. We will always be a Hot Springs Customer!!!

The tub is large enough for our adult family if 5. The jets are powerful with some capable of pushing you away from the backrest. Powerful jets are good but seats should be angled to prevent sliding forward.
Haven’t noticed much increase in electricity except during Maine winter. There is zero insulation around the tub on the pump side. And I mean zero, i can see the bare tub shell. Was told insulation would insulate tub but allow pumps to freeze in winter.
Don’t waste your money buying the speakers, I’ve heard better in an elevator. We use a bluetooth jbl to get far better quality sound.
In the end, I regret paying $26000 for a bunch of plastic. Hard to equate a hot tub to a brand new Honda Accord.

At first we thought it might be too big of a spa for us, but after having for a couple weeks, we would have been disappointed with anything else. The many seating and jet options are amazing. Family of 4 fits very comfortably with room for more if needed. Glad we made this choice!

The Tub Keeps Leaking....

We are on our 3rd attempt to find and fix our leaking hot tub. it has had a slow leak since the day it was installed. In order to access the leak they have to flip the tub on it's side, so I am having to restart my water conditioning each time they come out. We have only had the tub for about 2-1/2 months and I'm about to restart the conditioning process for the 3rd time. The leak is being "fixed" under warranty, but this is a bit aggravating as I'm blowing through salt and chemicals. I'm also concerned of the ware and tear on the tub with the amount of times it is getting flipped on end.

This is so easy to take care of. It self cleans. The heater keeps it warm for sur of the moments. Like having a small pool with minimal work. The cover is easy as can be to raise and lower and to keep out arizona dust . The older you get who needs pool maintenance. Just get the biggest spa you can afford. Can work one seat at a time or 2 or 3 to save energy if it’s one person
