My wife and I finally purchased our first hot tub after finding the HotSpring saltwater system. It DOES NOT disappoint! We have used it at least once a day since it was installed 3 months ago and it brings so much relaxation and calm into our lives. Great way to wind down after a full day and workout. I recommend it to all that ask about it.

Best Present from Santa!

After a spa hiatus of several years, we are thrilled to have a spa again at our new Kansas City residence! It was installed just before Christmas and what a gift it is of relaxation, muscle therapy, and contribution to our wellbeing! Santa knew what we needed and HotSpring spas made it super easy from purchase to delivery! We even had an owl swooping down to take a look at midnight on New Years Eve over our blue-lit water in the midst of a winter wonderland! "Beam" us up!" That's what we say when it is time to hit the hot tub. Love our BEAM Limelight spa. - Marcia & Karen

Love this hot tub. Just the right size. Easy to heat and inexpensive to run. Get in it almost every day. And having had bromide system before, also love the salt system. Easy on skin and no harsh smell.

2nd spa heater that is leaking

Had a new Beam spa installed June of 2022. Had my 2nd spa heater in 2 years replace now, thankfully it was still under warranty, but the last one was replace on January 9th 2025, because of severe leaking out of heater unit, after replacing the new one, Walkins Service rep refuse to give me any new salt and a soft water pillow to replenish the correct spa chemistry after ALL the water was replaced, said I had to pay for ALL the chemicals. Very unprofessional !

After 35 years...it was time for a new hot springs!

Our last hot springs spa was still keeping us warm, but after 35 years (!) we sprung for a new one! Just as great (ok, even better) and we never - and I mean NEVER - miss our nighttime soak.
Best way to relax, unwind, and talk about some bits of our day together.
(And we gifted our old spa to a young couple in our neighborhood.)

Great advertising and hype, poor quality product.

I have had my tub for approximately 2 years. The "branding" is great in that they really hype their product; however, the quality of the actual product does not match. I have found that the service, particularly with regard to the Watkins parent company, is terrible. I am currently on my third cover in two years, and have had to have the exterior panels replaced six times. Each time, approximately three months after the replacement, the cladding bows to the point that the corners fall off. Additionally, the sliver rings to the jets are rusting, and the exterior portions of the acrylic tub itself are cracking. The only solution offered up to this point is for Watkins to remove the tub and bring it back to the factory to work on it...which will take 4 months! They have only been willing to pick it up during the winter...which in Arizona is the prime time to use it. They also state that the problems are due to the heat...but they sell and market extensively in Arizona. If this tub cannot take the AZ environment, they shouldn't be sold here. Typically, the services people are nonresponsive for long periods of time. DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM WATKINS!

IQ system is a dud

We had our Beam delivered with the new IQ system and paid a lot more for it. Sadly the water testing doesn't work since install, the technician can't fix it, they have no one that can and the tech admitted they rushed the product to market when it is not "ready". The convenience sounds great but it doesn't work, they can't fix it and they have no one on staff to come look at it as they are stumped. Lemon here we come....

Good hot tub, but surprisingly low build quality for the price point

I’ve just installed the hot tub so I can’t really speak to its ongoing usage

There were a bunch of details that were really disappointing when installing it
First of all, there is a wooden block as part of the shipping clip that completely blocks conduit coming into the hot tub, so I had to hack that thing apart

Next up the front panel clip system is very awkward and not that reassuring

The material of all the side paneling is quite brittle and flimsy, and I honestly worry that it won’t stand up to the Riggers of people using it and accidentally knocking it with your feet

When reattaching the front panel, the screws very poorly lined up with the holes behind them, and I’m fearful that I was forced to cross the thread it simply to reassemble

Horrible time with communication

The local sales team was horrible with communications. I ended up paying more than we agreed due to this. They show up to install and are unable to even after I sent pictures of the wiring and was given the ok. So now I’m stuck with a couple hundred in wire I did not need and no working hot tub.

One of the Best things I ever purchased

I have always enjoyed Hot Tubs when staying at Hotels but never owned one until just recently. I bought the Salt Water system tub and it is fantastic. It is super easy to take care of and feels wonderful on a cool day or after doing yard work. The filters are easy to clean and I rarely have to add anything to the tub to keep it balanced. So far my electric bill has only gone up about $40 (may be a bit more during winter months). This surprised me, I thought it would be much higher so I am very happy about that. If you have been on the fence about purchasing a hot tub, I highly recommend purchasing a Hot Springs tub ASAP so you can enjoy it as much as I am.

We absolutely love our hot springs beam Hot Tub. It is so easy to take care of and it is luxury at an affordable price. I personally get it every single morning and it has helped my overall mental health and well-being. I have wanted a Hot Tub my entire life and so …. Now at the ripe age of 36 I pulled the trigger on the purchase and it has been so exciting to finally get to live my Hot Tub dreams. Worth it!!
