My new Hot Springs Beam Hot Tub offers a very high quality tub and comes in the convenient 110v plug and play option. Well designed, very high quality tub. Lighting is gorgeous, the controls are simple yet offer excellent options. Seating and Jets are well designed and thought out. The Beam is the perfect Hot Tub for those looking for a smaller, high quality Tub with 110v option and a salt water system. Could not be more pleased with the Beam.

Brand new spa I was persuaded to buy, has so many problems with its automatic warning system that shuts it off and says to clean filters, even brand new filters. Many attempts to fix it with the local services, still problematic.

Our family was hesitant to purchase a new hot tub, but we just couldn't be happier with our Beam hot tub. It's just a game changer. We love relaxing in the evening under the stars. It looks amazing, is easy to maintain, and it super comfy!

HotSpring Beam I Review

In choosing a spa, we were limited by two factors:
1. We had recently converted our pool to a saltwater system, and my wife loved it. She therefore insisted on a saltwater hot tub.
2. At one of the potential two locations for the spa at our home, we were only able to run 110 V circuitry.
So, in order to maintain flexibility in location of the spa, we had to find a manufacturer with a saltwater system and 110 V circuitry. The HotSpring Beam I spa was the only spa available in our area to meet these two specifications. We researched and shopped for over a year before finally deciding to order the HotSpring Beam I. We were told that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. But the spa was delivered at 5 1/2 weeks.
We have only had the spa for three days. But so far the saltwater sanitation system seems to be working flawlessly. The four jet patterns at each corner seat seem to work well for massaging the lower back, middle back, and upper back/neck, depending on your seating location. The lighting system is well appointed. The HotSprings logo lights to show you that all functions are in good working order. That is helpful so you can tell from a distance that the spy is in good working order and ready to use.
The Freshwater Salt System startup kit was over priced at $795. But overall, I think the spa is a good value for its class. Of course, spas are luxury items so it’s hard to determine “value“. You are always going to pay a premium for luxury items.

Dealer can't complete setup of spa

The owner of the dealership we bought the spa from unexpectedly died shortly after we purchased the spa. This left the company in disarray and the company was unable to install the spa for nearly a month after delivery and then it took them over three weeks to get the electrician (included in the package price) out to wire the spa. He left, the spa was filled with water and the dealership hired a person from a local pool company to setup the spa and start the salt system. Once the spa was filled with water it kept tripping the breaker and would not start. The electrician came back again and set some jumper to turn the spa on. So the spa now turns on and heats up fine, but the heater turns off every time the jets are on. This is a 220V spa so this should not happen and the dealership doesn't seem to know how to fix this. This may be a great quality spa, but given the service problems we have had over the past two months I could not recommend this spa or the dealership to anyone.

It's great if you don't play with action figures

We love this spa. Easy to use, great jets, and it fits a good number of people. The service from Hot springs spas has been great. The only downside for me is that we got a white interior and it shows where plastic Spider-Man drug his foot across the seat.

Worse purchase ever

I have another hottub and I got these small hottub by thinking it will be convenient to use. Very bad choice ever. Filter is not effective to clean the water.
Every week it stop heating or giving error. Body is not solid either. In 2 weeks of use cap of filter got broken. Cover of hottub also in lower quality. Can't survive in few years even.
My Service request change to 110v to 240v is also denied. Usually manufacturer support request to give 240 v pannel with extra cost. I have been told sorry we can't.
I have been told by representative at the time of sale that we will get app to monitor temp on phone soon. It's been year. No update. All false promise.
I would like to replace with bigger or different unit if possible.

We finally made the decision to replace the aged hot tub that came with our house…ok, it was about 16 years old so it had a good run!
We went 1 winter without a working hot tub and wow did we miss our wonderful winter soaks during a snow storm! Now, I value an almost daily dip to relax and enjoy some awesome salt water time just by myself!
This is one happy customer!

Nothing beats sinking into a comfortable hot tub in the winter time--looking at the night's sky, viewing the constellations, and relaxing tired muscles! It was my husband's idea to get a hot tub...I wasn't thrilled about it, but I'm glad we have it now! Don't hesitate, check out all of the options...your body will thank you for it! Now, back to watching Orion!

It’s not just a Hot Tub!

I specifically bought a spa that I could enjoy year round in Western CO. On the 90* days, I set temperatures to 85 and it’s the perfect plunge to cool off in or enjoy on those warm summer nights. As it cools down I have turned it up 5-10 degrees and it does go quickly and efficiently. It’s been a game changer for the hot dry months of summer!
Now to turn it up and soak as the snow falls!

We purchased our new HotSpring hot tub after moving to a new home and leaving our 20+ year old hot tub behind. We love the simplicity of the salt water system and also love the way your skin feels after using the tub. HotSpring is an excellent tub and we highly recommend it.
