This wasn’t the tub I had originally chosen it was the one I had to settle with. The little logo does not light up as indicated in the owner’s manual. So no quality control on the construction, that’s clear.

The Beam is just what I wanted. It’s easy to operate and maintain. I haven’t had to replace the salt cell yet so I won’t comment on that yet. What was most impressive about the Hot Spring was the staff at Pensacola Pools in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola. They were awesome in the sales process, the delivery process and set up. I’ve called with questions and they are always more than happy to help.

We absolutely love our Hot Spring Beam. We purchased the 120v tub with the salt water upgrade. We have had the tub for 4 months now and use it all the time. Excellent comfort and very easy to care for. We have a swimming pool as well, and this is so much easier to care for. We highly recommended the purchase of a Hot Spring Spa. My wife and I keep asking ourselves, “How have we lived this long before buying one?” You have no idea what you’re missing out on until you get in one of these amazing tubs!

This is my 2nd Hotsprings tub. I owned my first one for 15 years with very few problems. The quality of my Beam is not as good but overall it is a good tub. The quality of the product does not feel as high as my older model. I am concerned about one issue. There was a gap at the bottom of the components cover on my last tub and this one has that as well. In the winter, rodents get in there seeking warmth. I was not able to physically see this tub prior to purchasing due to Covid 19. The salesman told me we would not have this problem with this model but the gap is there.

What about the gap?

This reviewer has an issue with the gap and rodents. Must be common. We had a Grandee for 20+ years. Very good tub, not many maintenance problems, but I definitely had to staple wire mesh around the access panel because of rodents. Mice love the warmth. There were droppings and urine throughout the interior. Also had to pack steel wool around the power cable where it entered the pump compartment. Sorry they didn't fix that rodent issue over the years, and didn't acknowledge your comment. We are looking at a Beam now. I'd love to hear what they say about it and mice

Wanted a hot tub component for my newly built indoor pool. The Beam fit perfectly. Love the LED lights. Efficient ozonator. Have been a satisfied Watkins/Hot Springs customer for over twenty-five years. Yes, you can buy less expensive hot tubs – but not with the quality components and construction built-in to this one. Simple to use and maintain. Who wants complicated? I love this tub!

I purchased HotSpring because I liked the look and dimensions of the spa. It has worked well in the first couple of months. Time will tell how it performs long term. I have not experienced quality problems.
Getting and keeping the water chemistry right has taken more effort than I anticipated, considering it has the Freshwater Salt System.
HotSpring cost more than most spas I looked at when shopping. The rebate and discount closed the price gap enough that I made the purchase.
Manufacturing and delivery took a long time. The salesman shared the time frame, but as we waited we got more impatient. It was delivered just before the deadline, almost two months after purchase. I wish there was a way to track manufacturing and shipping online.
The foot area is small when multiple people are using the spa. I expect this is the case with any spa with this type of layout, but this is my first experience. Otherwise there is plenty of room.
We have been pleased with the variety and power of the jets.
Overall I have been satisfied with the spa. I would purchase HotSpring again.

Our new Limelight Beam spa

The Beam Spa from the Limelight collection was the perfect fit for our needs. The size, color and options was everything we were looking for. It is very comfortable and easy to care for. We purchased the plug and play 110V model.. So easy to get up and running. And it holds the temperature within 2 degrees from the day before. The delivery team was very professional and took a lot of time and care in setting it up.
There were a few issues with it when it was delivered. There were scratches on the inside of the shell and the large buttons on the control panel had marks that would not come off. The waterfall feature on the back side of the spa never fully turns off. It just dribbles all the time.
The big thing I don't like is the fact that when you shut the spa down for the night, the lights on the "HotSpring" logo stay lit all the time and they are very bright. I wish there was a way to turn them off.

We love the hot tub, the salt water, the size (luxurious for two). We purchased from Olympic because of our high confidence in their service. That confidence was justified through a complicated delivery and through our start up support. Karen was extremely helpful throughout the sale process and the wet test was very helpful. This is our second tub (in a different house) and we expect to use this tub for a long time. We consider it an investment in our health.
