We’ve had this hot tub about two months and it seems every other day it goes into protection mode. We take out the filters, we clean the filters, we put them back in and reset the breakers. It runs OK for a day and I wake up in the morning and the lights are flashing again, it’s gone into protection mode AGAIN! Going to be calling them to pick this piece of poo up! This is ridiculous!

Ive had multiple pump issues, keeps tripping breaker. I have called them out once and he said he cant make it trip, the same day we got in hot tub and tripped breaker after 10 minutes.

This is my second Grandee, my original one I bought 15 years ago and loved it. Nothing really wrong with it but just wanted to upgrade for better technology such as the sound system, saltwater sanitization, etc. Fits 5 very comfortably but can hold up to 7 people. Wide variety of jets but my favorite is the back massager jets that move up and down your back. Highly recommend Hot Springs for quality.

Multiple failures after two weeks

Love the look of my new Grandee NXT hot tub, but the touchscreen failed after two weeks, and the fountains and other jets are slow and jumpy when they get started... and struggle to keep pressure at times. I expected more quality from a premium-level hot tub.

We like the new Grandee. Excellent features. Was a sticker shock, guess inflation is real.
Still attempting to work out new salt system as the hot tub is at our family vacation home and is not used for weeks at a time. It always seems to register no available chlorine on the test strip regardless of whether we have just arrived and it is set at 3 or when we are there having bumped it up to level 5. We are super-chlorinating with one cup Clorox sanitizing NON-scented Bleach. Next time we will try using the 24 hour boost cycle And MPS. A SHEET of BEST PRACTICES. For salt systems would be welcome.

Love the tube... salt system doesn't seem to work

We have had this tube for a little over two months. We Love the tub and its quality however the touch screen doesn't respond well and this week it appears a light went out on the screen. Hoping I can get this fixed without it costing us... if your not tech savvy look out because it can get complicated and cost you trips by repair guys for computer glitches.
The Fresh water salt system doesn't seem to work. I've called Watkins and spoke to our sales team at Watsons numbers of times and non of the advice given has solved the issues. I've been a life guard managing and maintaining chemicals in large pools. Owned an inground pool for over 17 years. I wouldn't think this would be so difficult. But it seems to be a daily venture. They keep telling me to keep the pH at 7.2. So I broke down and bought an electronic meter since they don't trust that I can read a test strip. I followed all the recommendations, but every day or so the water starts to turn green. We bumped the salt system to 10 with initiating the boost.... I Called Watkins about this they didn't seem to know what to tell me. My sales person said don't do that and turn it down. The class I took at Watsons said I shouldn't be testing the chlorine at all. Well you tend to do that daily to keep the tub from turning green. So I am at a loss. Today only two months after installation the screen tells us it needs a new salt cell. None of the instructions I could find gave good detail on what to do. But we got it done with trial and error....Like I said....it shouldn't be this hard. What next? I don't know...Good luck...hope your experience is better than mine.

I bought my Grandee in April 2019 from Lakeland Pools and I am completely happy with my purchase. Lakeland is completely professional and knowledgeable about the product, as well as installation on difficult sites. I needed a crane for my delivery to go on my deck, and they knew just what needed to be done! Everything went perfectly and from the start of the delivery to when it was finished took 45 minutes! Everyone knew what they were doing! They are also excellent with the follow up care, as this is my first spa and I had a million questions; they always have the answers. I will always own a spa, it really completes my house. I just can't wait for the first snow fall! It's going to be a blast!!!

We enjoy our hot tub year round, we just bought our third Grandee in 23 years due to moving to other houses. You can easily have them moved but we wanted the latest version each time. They are the best in comfort and very energy efficient. We would definitely recommend owning a Hot Springs Spa hot tub, any model but we like the Grandee the most.

I would recommend the Grandee Hot Spring hot tub. My family has enjoyed it very much, and we have not had any major or even minor problems. Taking care of the water is similar to a tropical fish tank. There are only two items I wish we could correct. 1. The leftside of the hot tub, you can turn the vents on low, high or off. The rightside can only be high or off. It would be nice to have the low option. 2. The salt system shuts down if you do not touch the screen after 10 days. When you go on a 2 week vacation, you come home to a hot tub full of green soup, even if you superchlorinate the water the day you left. You have to drain the hot tub and refill/start all over.

Huge - Cadillac of Spas!

So the best thing about this spa is the size. It is absolutely huge. Each seat is comfortable for any size person and there is a giant space in the middle so your legs don’t have to intertwine with anyone you don’t want! The lighting is also excellent adds a wonderful mood. The massage jets are fantastic as well and you can probably not find a more powerful massage. The water temperature maintains very well. A couple things I would fix about it include that there are no cupholders. Drinking a glass of wine or a beer in a spa is pretty standard I can’t understand why there’s no cupholders. I also think the corner seats Sit a little too low for my comfort and it feels like I’m slipping backwards in those corner seats. I think they should add a pillow seat nonslip so you don’t feel like you’re slipping out of those corners. All in all this is the Cadillac of hot tubs and I’m not sure you can find a better one. Those couple things would make it much better but all in all I just love it.

Great tub but I’m having a little trouble keeping it clear. No one seems to be on the same page as for what to do. I had the white glove treatment but that didn’t help. I owned a Sundance fo 16 years and never had any issues. I’m hoping it all works out

We bought the Hot Springs Spa on the recommendation of friends. Got the salt system model. It was installed in early summer of 2019. It has never made chlorine and chemicals always out of balance. Requires constant maintenance and adding chlorine. We had no idea that the spa would require the amount of maintenance it has. Previously owned a salt water pool and it did not require near the amount of time and chemicals that this tub does. Very disappointed.

The only issue I have with the hot tub is the difficulty that we have with keeping the water clear - We have owned our hot tub since July 3rd and for at least half that time we have had water issues. It is not easy to keep the everything running smoothly. It seems that if we do not get the timing right between testing and boosting the salt system - we end up with very cloudy water. Just very temperamental and frustrating - if we could get that to work properly this would be a 4 - 5 star spa

We are the happy owners of a Hotspring Grandee spa for over 8 years. It's a terrific end of the day on the water boating and swimming retreat to cater to our sore muscles. The tub is big enough for 6 adults comfortably and a few kids. Even our dog likes to join us on his little seat from time to time. We enjoy our "drinky drinks" in fun cups in our spa and it has become part of our daily ritual at the rivah. Service has been reliable and speedy and I think we've only called in two issues. The only complaints we have are with the support accessories. Because we are on open water, we need hurricane straps. These do not last and we have had to replace them multiple times in one year. Currently, our local dealer doesn't even carry or can order ones that are long enough so HotSprings must have changes the length on these. So we are currently without hurricane straps. Secondly, the spa cover hinges break easily and do not seem to have been designed for the large cover. We have had to replace them at least 6 times. Overall, though we love the product!

Only 10 day in and its AMAZING

This is our first Hot Tub purchase, and we couldn't be more pleased. I'm almost 60 and Im starting to feel it. Two bad knees and back fusion surgery 20 years ago. Doctor told me previous accidents are catching up with me, surviving my 60's will take some work. I know its only been 10 days, but I feel so much better. The jet massage for my back and knees really makes a difference. Best purchase this year!

Absolutely love our Grandee. So easy to take care of with the salt system. We have had 5 hot tubs over the years this tub has the best jets ever. The Moto massage totally works your body over and you have complete recovery from long hard days! It’s big enough all our neighbor an friends love to come over and hang out! Adult children come over way not often since the purchase... best part! Oh by the way my electric bill went down from my last hot tub! Woo woo

I have had three of these and they rarely improve the product. Rodents still get in, no provision for temperature alarm, covers last 2 years with no warranty, parts hard to get. There is no ability to contact the company so you are just out of luck. I have been waiting 10 months for a top and for my moto-massager to be fixed.
