We re-did our entire backyard with new concrete, fountain, firepit and lighting naturally adding a hot tub was the perfect ADDITION to make it just PERFECT!

We've had the Grandee with ACE, lights and music for 3 months. Some or all of us are in it several times a week. My kids have had friends over, I've had the neighborhood ladies. It's been great...except that the ACE salt system hasn't kept up. Maybe if we didn't use it as much in the first week to let it get a good start we maybe wouldn't have had as many problems but we've been chasing the chlorine since day 1 and still don't show there is any excess. After many phone calls and service calls with conflicting advice, I think we have a handle on cleaning and care. We have the ACE on boost most days with a 7 otherwise. I clean the filters and cell twice a month. Hope to be able to back off some before too long.

Oasis system is a pain

We have hard water (well) and the Oasis system needs overly soft water to function properly. I've had to run a hose from inside the house to fill it with softened water and use multiple softening pillows.
Plus the Oasis wants filters cleaned far more often than you'd normally need to do it.
I wouldn't buy it if I knew then what little benefit you get for such an expensive option.

Certain water sources do have extremely hard water. We do have a portable water filler that will allow you to fill your spa and soften it at the same time. WOW!!! I LOVE THIS SPA!!!! I have been buying spas for 30 years! This is by far the best out there! Hot Springs make you feel part of the family when you buy your spa! From the best jets to the best filter system! Hot Spring spa has your back ! 40 years strong and made in the USA!!! Love the lights and waterfall too! The stereo and wireless remote is cutting edge! Our hot tub has become central to our evenings. Easily, I would say we spend at least an hour and a half a day using it. I highly recommend putting it outside even in the frigid temperatures of Bemidji- in fact, especially because of the temperature differences between the cold outside air and the hot water- the experience is great. As a former stone mason whose lower back is frequently in pain, the hot tub has been a relief. My wife and I love to sit in the tub at night at watch the stars and occasional meteor showers. Mike and his staff have been great to work with and have more than taken care of us as customers. Hands down, the best purchase we have made since we got married.

2016 Hot Springs Grandee NXT Tub

It was not what I envisioned......I had planned on a gunite hot tub etc........
My driveway gate projects are on higher end homes with in-ground pools with adjacent hot tubs, you get the picture. I was going to build what my customers all have. So I am at a party this past summer, one of our customers. Our kids are there and the pool and hot tub are the focal point. Its all good. I am studying their 8' round gunite hot tub with 6 jets and a little waterfall into the pool. The temp is about 88 f and the kids are having a good time and I am thinking "is this what I REALLY want?"
One month later: I designed a space off our patio (up into the hill) with two sided concrete retaining wall and 10 x 10 slab. We installed a Hot Spring Grandee NXT hot tub on this slab, unrelated to a pool. Closer to the house and patio doors, and we decided to keep the tub operational through the winter.
Today is January 7, 2017. It is 25 degrees and snowing, about a foot on the ground. This tub is probably the best money spent into this house project since the kitchen. We use every day (almost), it is very easy to care for (I do it...) and is very easy on the utility bill. We live in an area where electric rates are about 2nd highest in US......the cost is negligible. Our A/C in the summer is twice the usage compared to the Hot Springs Tub.
My suggestion: buy the biggest unit you can afford or fit. You will never regret it. Smaller tubs OK but if you have kids or guest, buy bigger. Trust me.
Place your installation site close to the house. Ours is adjacent to our patio where we cook, play table tennis, etc. When you are looking at it when you come home, you are more likely to use and appreciate it.

My friends with gunite pools are all closed up for the winter. We are enjoying our tub each day and glad we thought it through carefully and made the right decision.

My wife and I researched other brands and models and definitely made the right choice for the Grandee NXT. The Moto-Massage captain's seats are fantastic. We are in it almost nightly after dinner, even now that we are in the Winter months. Your body temp is raised by the water, so even when you get out in the frigid cold, you really don't mind it.
HotSpring doesn't cut any corners on quality or details and I highly recommend this model.

Great SPA and wonderful experience. However, the owners manual is not correct in many instances. And it conflicts with additional paperwork. Had to have a service call for a warning light and electrical problem on two separate occasions. The problem was the owners manual was totally wrong. Had it been correct, I would have known what to do on the warning light and my electrician would have put a wire in the 4th position over instead of the 3rd for a correct thermostat setting/hook up.

There are two important things that define a good experience for a major purchase like a hot tub. First is getting a quality product that meets or exceeds your expectations. Second, but equally important is service that you can trust. In the case of the Grandee NXT we purchased from Adam Murphy in Lenexa, both of those crucial elements came together perfectly.
As an engineer, I recognize and appreciate attention to detail in design. It goes beyond the quality of the material. The thought that has gone into the layout of the hot tub is evident throughout. The comfort and placement of the seats, the combination and location of the jets, down to the places to rest my arms when I want them out of the water have been wonderfully thought through and designed. The lighting on the tub is beautiful and the options allow anybody of any mood to find a setting they like. The ease of use of the tub is fantastic. Within minutes of getting in and playing with the control, I could easily navigate to settings, water flow,and jet pressures that were perfect for me. The aesthetics of the tub and the quality of the workmanship were even noticed by people we had working on our deck who commented "That is the best looking tub I have ever seen".
As for customer service, Adam Murphy in Lenexa may have attained the best customer service I believe I have ever had. Adam came to our home on a Friday night AFTER the store closed to walk through our hot tub with us. Unfortunately, when he got there, the electrician was not done. Adam stayed for 2 hours waiting kindly and patiently to then discover it had been wired wrong and would need to be redone. Adam's technical knowledge of the tub came through and he knew immediately what the electrician had done wrong. I was so impressed with how much he knew about the technical aspects of the tub. In addition to all of this, he came back to our home a second time. No impatience. No complaints. He simply took the time to walk us through how to use our tub and make the whole experience great. Customer for life! Thanks Adam and Hot Springs for a job well done!

So far, really happy with my hot spring NXT grandee. Super relaxing, and so far the water care has been simplified with the ACE system. Have to give thanks to Hot springs of KC, as they have been awesome, answering all my questions. My opinion, is that you MUST buy a hot tub from a business that has a good history of customer service. Long tern, it is super important. I almost made a terrible decision and bought one from a wholesale store, or thermaspa. Spend the money and get one that will LAST! Do your research!

My wife and I owned a hot tub years ago, and boy, have they come a long way. HotSpring just does everything right. From the jets, to the lights, to the controls, touchscreen remote, and modern cabinet, no detail was done cheaply. We were hesitant on spending money on a high-end spa, but when we looked at the features, craftmanship, and cost of other brands, it was the only choice. A great investment, and one we thoroughly enjoy daily.

We never knew what we were missing

We have had our Grandee NXT spa for about 6 months. We previously had a hot tub as part of our swimming pool. Yes, the water got hot, but that is the only thing it had in common with our Hot Springs spa.
The jets and moto massage are FANTASTIC! We enjoy moving from seat to seat to experience the different jets.
We did agonize about which spa to purchase and we went with the largest and that has proven to be a good choice. Plenty of room for us as well as friends.
The product support from Everything Billiards of Greensboro, NC has been outstanding!

I've had my Grande NXT about 2 weeks now and we love it!! Tho Moto massager is great. The quality of the tub is exceptional. When I was shopping for a hot tub we couldn't find anything that compared to this one!! Absolutely love it!!! Would recommend anyone looking for a hot tub to check out Hot Springs hot tubs!! My wife and I joke that our Hot Spring Hot Tub is the best way of taking the edge off the day. Better than Dry Martinis!
It is also a very good way to start the day on a cold winter morning by taking a dip, with a hot black coffee on the side.
So at the beginning or at the end, our Hot Spring Hot Tub always makes our day.

We had the Grandee NXT installed about a month ago and it has been a game changer. We use it at least once a day and it has become an integral part of our wellness routine. The Ace system is "aces" and the look and feel of the tub only adds to the enjoyment. I would highly recommend this as a superior product. Kudos to Nannette and her staff at Hot Tubs by Hot Springs in New Jersey. She guided us through the selection and installation process seamlessly.
