Good purchase but maintenance is a lot

I have a salt water pool so I thought the salt water hot tub was the way to go but it is a lot of maintenance. Still need to add dichlor chlorine weekly, and test system every 10 days and change cartridges every 3-4 months. And after all this, there is no stable reading of stabilizer so it requires weekly examination. Plus maintaining salt levels is ongoing too.
With my slatwater pool I make sure the salt is good in the beginning of summer, output set of 60% and I dont need to do anything else except periodically test the pool to confirm everything is running well.

Love our spa! It really helps my chronic pain! It has done miracles for my body. After 20mins in the spa daily, I can walk and move better. You won't be sorry for investing in a HotSprings spa! It's the best thing I've ever done for myself! It's energy efficient and caring for it is pretty simple. I highly reccomend a HotSprings Spa!

Great purchase

Took a while to figure out which Spa to get because Hot Springs has so many choices. Picked the Envoy. Turned out to be a perfect size with which to replace our old Hot Springs spa (that was 17 years old!). Love the new Envoy hot tub with great seating and lounge chair options; love the many different jets including for hands and feet. The lighting is really cool at night. Excellent price from the dealer I worked with. Very satisfied with the purchase.

New salt system

Had a very tough time getting water regulated.
Have spent numerous hours on the phone with tech support and more money on supplies and vanishing acts that I thought I needed. Hopefully things will stay regulated.

Hot Springs has a long way to go before they perfect there new fresh water system!

Very disappointed with the fresh water system. The great company I purchased the spa from and there expert staff, have had to make many visits and trouble shoot with hot springs who seem to be in the dark on how to fix alot of the issues. They even helped hot springs rewrite the startbup manual to help prevent the cells from failing early... There view is that Hot Springs did not do enough testing on the new fresh water system and how to correctly "open" the spa and maintaining the correct chemistry in the spa. I will say...hot sprongs did great marketing on a system that was supposed to be easy to take care of.....it is far from that!!

Good for Lower Back Pain.

I feel that the Hot Springs Envoy is premium quality and I enjoy all aspects of it. My wife and I try to use it every evening for about 30 minutes and I use it in the morning several days a week also. My wife enjoys just soaking and looking at the stars while I enjoy the lights, jets and fountain feature. I was unsure at first if I would just use it heavily for two weeks and then move on but I have used it for 6 months nearly everyday. I feel the Envoy is an investment in caring for yourself with muscle relaxation and mental downtime.

A Great Investment For A Healthier Future

We thought about a spa for nearly 10 years and then this spring our neighbor gave his old 1987 Hot Springs Grantee. After getting it set up in our backyard we started watching lots of YouTube videos about Hot Spring Spas, the factory, how they're built, and then all the models. After a limited time looking at other manufactures and finding none of them having anything similar to the patented "Motto" jet we came back to researching and reviewing Hot Spring's models. The "captain's chair", and the Motto recliner chair sold us on the Envoy. Now knowing what we wanted off to the local dealer we went and within a few hours we became the proud owners of an Envoy. Our backyard setup of the pad and electrical went quick and easy with the help of a licensed electrician. When the delivery came it was all setup in a couple of hours and the next day we started using it regularly. For my wife and I using the spa has become a regular part or our routine, we use it 4 to 5 days a week! This is turning out to be a great investment into a healthier future for the both of us.

Best decision ever, we love it

We just had the hot tub installed yesterday. After work my husband was able to relax in the hot tub. He said, "Best decision ever, I love it!" I unfortunately was not able to enjoy it...yet as I have a broken foot. I get the cast off Tuesday. I will be jumping in that evening for sure.

We absolutely love everything about it. It is beautiful, spacious, and very thoughtfully designed.
We love the salt water system, and maintenance is easy once you get the hang of it.
My only critique is that it does require more chlorine than what we were told when we were sold the spa. Basically, if you use the spa, and do not put some chlorine in afterward, the water will get cloudy over the course of a few days. It happened to us a few times before we eventually learned that the salt system maintains the water as though it were barely being used. The ACE system can't keep up with normal-to-heavy use.
There is a button that will "boost" chlorine conversion for a little while, and perhaps that might help? We haven't tried it yet. Also, it's really easy to just throw a few tablespoons of chlorine in there to keep the water clear.
Overall, we love it, and we are happy with the purchase.

Hot Tub quality isn't what I expected

I have owned 4 different hot tubs and this hot tub has more issues than the others. I have jet covers that pop off in the tub and I have to search for them and put them back on. The salt chlorination system doesn't maintain adequate chlorination levels.
Overall, comfort is ok. But maintenance and quality of workmanship are not what I am used to.
I would not repeat my purchase.

2019 ENVOY NXT Spa Review

Having done over a year of research into different spas, spa features, what to look for, and having visited many suppliers of spas in the LBI region, my wife and I couldn’t be happier that we finally acquired a 2019 Envoy NXT with the Freshwater Salt System from LBI Hot Spring! The sales experience was very easy, informative, and came with no pressure or commitments. Our sales person, Amy, was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us answering my very detailed, technical questions about the spa and how best to go about acquiring one for a new home build on LBI. The very fact that we were able to do a test-dip and try out the Envoy NXT was a super plus!
The financing process was easy and well explained and we love the 5 year interest free finance which makes ownership more affordable. Working with LBI Hot Spring, we were able to order the spa with ease and then eagerly waited for delivery and install which also went off without a hitch. Within 3 days of delivery, we were filled, hooked up to power, water balanced and ready to soak on a nice cold morning in late April. The initial teaching session about spa use including the controller, features, and instructions on balancing the water to the right levels was easy to understand and with a little practice, now effortless.
Having owned our spa for a few weeks now, we love every moment in it with our friends and family. The only hard part is reminding yourself you have to leave the spa from time to time and enjoy the rest of what LBI has to offer. Otherwise, LBI Hot Spring has always been there for us to help out with questions whether by calling or even texting the staff who promptly respond and answer all our questions about the spa and spa care. We are glad we went with LBI Hot Spring and the 2019 Envoy NXT to be specific. It was a very worthwhile investment and besides just being fun spending time in, one quickly notices how much better you feel the rest of the day or evening after experiencing the massaging and soothing affects of the jets and salt water. We hope to enjoy the spa for many years to come and see what fun and exciting features come out in the future. Money well spent, for sure.

Pillows fell apart at 2.5 years

The Pillow surfaces bubbled up and peeled off. I would not recommend a product that is this expensive with such poor durability.

Under normal wear the spa pillows should not peel or bubble. However, I would like to know more about it to see what I can do to help. I will email you directly.

I appreciate you bringing up this topic. Pillow care is important.

The spa pillows will provide years of comfort if treated with care. They have been positioned above the water level to minimize the bleaching effects of chlorinated water, and other spa water chemicals.

To extend their life, whenever the spa shell is being cleaned, the spa pillows should be removed and cleaned. Body oils can be removed with a mild soap and water solution. ALWAYS rinse off the spa pillows thoroughly
to remove any soap residue. The pillows can be conditioned with HOT SPRING Cover Shield after cleaning.

If the spa is not going to be
used for a long period of time (that is during a vacation, or if the spa is winterized), or when the spa water is being super-chlorinated, the spa pillows should be removed until the next spa use.

Love it so far but......

This is my second Hot Springs Spa. The new design is wonderful, has all the bells and whistles but after exactly two years, I drained and filled the spa and then it would not come on. I suspected an air lock so I drained and refiled thru the main filter line. It has power and the outside green light is solid but the blue light is blinking. No jets, heat, lights or remote. The onboard jets and light buttons also do not function. Waiting on a service call. For the amount of money spent, I should not be having these problems. I really hope this is a fluke and a quick fix.

Excellent spa experience

After our 19-year-old Dimension One spa, our new Envoy allows for another excellent spa experience. Jet options are top-notch. Additional arm on lounge would balance that particular chair option. “Captains chair” and traveling lumbar jets are especially unique, as is space between each seat. Highly recommended!
