Never owned a hot tub before. It has so many different features it takes awhile to figure everything out. Easy to operate and take care of and really appreciated the way it retains water temperature. Had a power outage here in NH a month or so after the tub was installed. I was worried about freezing with the temperatures getting into the twenties at night. After 3 days without power however the temperature was still at 86 degrees from the factory preset of 100 degrees. Expensive but comparably priced. Ozone generator makes the simple task of water maintenance even easier. Plus, the added filtration and never off feature keep the water sparkling clean. Worth spending the extra money for the added features!

We bought this this Spa about 2 years ago and love it!!!!! It is the cente of our relaxation and conversation moments!!! The diferent massage jets and lounges just keep you moving from one to another and they are all fantastic.
The wireless water resistant control is so easy to use and program, just take it with you inside, set your temperature, color light combination and your set.

i have used the hot tub almost every day and spend almost an hour in it every night before bed. It's so relaxing and I love all the different jets to help with different parts of sore muscles. I always look forward to relaxing in it. I got the gray envoy nxt and just love the color. I am so glad I purchased this hot tub. I will be posting a picture of my hot tub when I finish my patio area.

We have only had our spa for a week and have used it every evening. The "Captains chair" is a new level of relaxation. We purchased the salt water system and have not been disappointed. It has been easy to learn how to care for the spa and it doesn't dry out your skin or irritate your eyes.

Hot Springs Envoy- the King of Spas!

We spent a few months reviewing many popular brands of spas including Bullfrog, Jacuzzi, Dimension One, Caldera, Thermo Spas (now owned by Jacuzzi) and Hot Springs. We also wet tested most of them. For us, the Highlife Series for Hot Springs (top models) were of no comparison to the other brands. The fit and finish were over the top, but let me explain why. Hot Springs uses a filtering system on those models that has no-bypass filtration. This means all water must pass through the filters every time before it's recirculated back into the pumps. No other brand in the market has this technology. Some may complain that the five filters are expensive BUT they can be rotated once a month and put in the dishwasher for cleaning! I would rather have 5 high quality filters than one inexpensive one!
The seating is perfect in that it fits most people's heights. Other brands sometimes use more low or high seating that will not fit all people. The color scheme (as can be seen in the picture attached) is far beyond what other brands do. You can literally separately change the color all the water pillows, the bar top, the underwater lights, and even change the intensity of the brightness. It's amazing but also has a psychological effect in that it helps to calm your senses.
The model we chose in the series was the Envoy. Keep in kind these models are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. We upgraded to the NXT version which is done by Design Works, a division of a BMW company. This gives the exterior molded corners, all metal framing and polycarbonate substructure which gives the hot tub an almost floating look to it. Most of these top models also come with the Bella Fontana waterfall which is very relaxing to look at as well.
We liked the Envoy also because of lounge seat and the Moto Massage DX. The Moto massage has two powerful jet streams that go up and and down you whole back simultaneously while you can adjust the pressure level. This is a Hot Springs exclusive and not available in other other brand. If you don't like a lounge seat, the Grandee or Vanguard are also great choices which also have the Moto Massage DX. Simply put, it's amazing.
Another reason we liked this brand was due to the financing options. This dealer currently has 0% financing for 60 months. That is unheard of in the industry. Obviously this could change and you do need excellent credit, but that is a great deal especially since this type of purchase is considered unsecured debt. In addition, the spas are covered for a 5 year warranty for all major parts and 7 years for the heater. Read the fine print with other brands and you will notice a difference on some.
One of the biggest reasons we went with Hot Springs was also due to the fact that our dealer and salesman, Joseph Heymann was incredible. The dealer is located in Auburn, MA and Joe should get an award for his professionalism, dedication, and knowledge of the industry. He is one of the best salesman I have seen without being pushy. He answered probably hundreds of questions and knew all of them. The dealer has a very dedicated service staff that are always there if you need them. When you buy a spa you truly want to have a great dealer who backs their products. If you come down to a decision between two spas of different brands and the service is far better for one of them, go with that one because you will know they will give you the support you need many years down the road. Make sure it is a reputable dealer.
Some people critique that Hot Springs still fully insulates the spa with high density foam, the same foam that is used in commercial freezers and that it can be a pain in the neck to find a leak (God forbid that happens) because you have to manually take out the foam to find it. That is true, however, the spa is warrantied and Hot Springs stands by their product. So if that happens to you, they will fix it. In addition, that type of heavy foam insulation also provides great efficiency with electrical bills. There are many other spas out there where you will pay more for electricity to heat the spa. Do your research.
If I had to give one critique of the Envoy it would be that Hot Springs needs to improve the intensity of the foot wells. They still feel great, but I would like a little more pressure on the feet. Caldera, which is made by the same manufacturer as Hot Springs, has the best foot wells but the rest of the spa we did not like for the reasons stated above.

It is really hard to tell what pricing on these should be. Kind of like buying a car and our dealer absolutely refuses to haggle, even though we own a hot springs now ..Can anyone let us know if you had the same experience?

Interested in the Envoy model for my home. My patio has a good slope to it and has a 3" difference from one side to the other. My dealer is saying that the spa can be shimmed. Is this ok to do without compromising the structure?

We got our new Hot tub in March to replace one that was damaged over the winter. The team from Bismarck was great to work with. The installation was stress-free and the Hot tub is great. My wife and I travel several times a year, frequently renting homes. Many of these vacation homes have spas. We enjoy a morning dip with coffee, and a evening dip with a beer or glass of wine. When I told my wife I wanted a hot tub for our house she was not sold on the idea. Our hot tub has been in a month now & she loves it. She has said it is the best home improvement we've ever made. We use it daily and couldn't be happier with the purchase.
