Wonderful Spa

We love our spa. Each seat has its own benefits and we enjoy rotating between them for a whole body experience. The massaging seats that roll up and down your spine are fantastic. I especially love the foot jets and the hand jets after a day of gardening!

Next Level Hot Tub!

Having not tried this hot tub out before buying we were crossing our fingers that we would be happy. We are not only happy we are thrilled with this hot tubs performance. Never have we ever experienced a hot tub like this. We purchased the 2023 Envoy. Our neighbors spent close to the same price as ours but a different brand and they stated there is no comparison that ours is hands down better.
Each spot has a different feel. The lounger is head to toe, and the amazing part is the up and down jet. You will never need a massage again! The captains chair has pressure like I have never felt before in a hot tub. Very strong performance if you want it as it's all adjustable. Some get your hands, some your feet, one your hips, etc.
Don't hesitate for a minute. You get what you pay for and worth every penny!!

First salt water tub

After a motor vehicle accident I had a broken ankle/heel, 9 ribs, and more than 24 back fractures. Our hot tub is great therapy for me. We switched to the Envoy salt water tub and was amazed at how much easier it is to manage, no foaming and my skin isn’t as dry. So glad we switched to salt water!

Its not a premium hot toub

i have had my hot tub for about 18 months. The lights have cracked and needed to be replaced. The head rests need to be replaced they are bubbled. The docker unit just had to be replaced. The remote had to be replaced. The sides of the tub are warping. The frame is melted.

I'm sorry to hear that your spa experience hasn't been great. I'd like to learn more about the issues you've faced and how I can help.
You've raised some significant concerns that I think the entire hot tub community could benefit from. Sometimes, headrests or pillows can bubble up due to direct sunlight exposure or excessive gas from water care chemicals.
To prevent this from happening, it's best to avoid exposing your spa to direct sunlight for prolonged periods when it's not in use. Additionally, when adding chemicals to the water, keep the cover open and run the jets for 10 minutes. After that, allow the spa to off-gas for an additional 10 minutes before closing the cover.
Another issue to consider is the placement of your spa in relation to double-pane windows. When the sun reflects off these windows, it can cause high heat reflection. If the angle is just right, it could melt the cover or siding of your spa.
The good news is that all of these problems are preventable. It's important for hot tub owners to enjoy their spas for many years to come.

I'm getting older and really wanted a spa again (it's been 15 years). I researched just about every manufacturer and visited countless showrooms. Albeit the HotSprings Highlife Envoy isn't exactly budget friendly but the features and comfort are worth it. Each seat serves a purpose for relieving muscles, I've got each seat dialed in and rotate. The salt water system and water care are simple, took a week or so to get it dialed in but I rarely have to do a thing. The spa is great, but I also found that the dealer is just as important... glad I found both to be exceptional.

Brand new Spa came warped with sides bowed out and ends not meeting. One year later HotSpring has been unable to fix the spa even after multiple attempts and parts. Please find pictures of what it looks like now.

This tub is a Friday afternoon tub

Our tub was either built on a Friday after 3 or a Monday before 9. The tub from day one has been nothing but problems. Electrical issues, speakers break after one push down, tub leaks and they can't find it. It has been in the shop for repairs more this year than we have had it (over 6 months this year). We add around 100 gallon a week and they can't find the leak.
Hot Springs offered to sell us one at cost to replace this one. Apparently the dealers don't make profit if they price to buy one is just short of retail. The thought was nice, but I bought a piece of junk, why would I want to replace it with another piece of junk.
Over priced. Over rated. Over sold.

Though I was buying a top of the line spa!

I purchased a Hot Springs Envoy in February of 2022. First off it took about 6 months to get the spa due to a backlog. We knew that when we ordered it but still took awhile. The spa seemed very nice at first, comfortable lounge and seats and nice design.
Within 4 months one of the side panels began to warp. We live in Northern California and the sun can get warm. This spa is an all weather spa so you would figure it would last longer than that.
About 1 year in the remote control quite working. The local service tech came out and replaced under warranty. Then about 2 months later I noticed there was water around the bottom of the spa all the time. The water level was also dropping about 2 inches per week. I called the local rep and they came out and said it’s under warranty it will need to go back to the manufacturer. When the movers showed up we assisted them getting it on the cart. Once tipped on its side tons of water came rushing out along with a ton of water logged insulation. The bottom of the spa had also separated at multiple seems. I’ve now been without my spa for about 4 weeks.
I looked at lots of spas before making my decision. I used to deliver hot springs spas for the local dealer after high school. We decided to go with the envoy due to reputation and we wanted to give our local dealer the business. Our local dealer has been GREAT and this is in no way a negative review of him or his company. I am however VERY disappointed that I spent top dollar on a spa and had nothing but problems. I have close to 19k invested in electrical, concrete and the spa to just have a bare pad out back. At this point I cannot recommend a Watkins product as it seems the craftsmanship was cheap and no quality control

Envoy experience

We really like it. But there were start up issues. The instruction book is not totally clear as to which controls change the pressure or water volume in which spa feature. It took a while to get to know these well. The book is also not clear on which features on the remote water screen are turned on and off by each of the 3 buttons that can be selected. A couple of the outer rings came loose from their outlets, but could be reattached. The motomassage worked fine right away, but then one of the heads broke off of its plastic water tube and both massage heads needed to be replaced. Fortunately, this was done fairly quickly. Hope it doesn't break again. Couldn't get phosphate remover for many weeks after start up.

Defective Hot Tub

I hope Hot Springs has the courage to keep this review up. Bought a brand new Envoy and the shell has a huge dent in the Captain Chair's arm. I am 95% certain my family did not cause this. The video of the training on chemicals (to show dent) is inconclusive so that is why its not 100%. The shell has a good size dent in it. Brand new- $25k. Amazing. Of course the store "ships" it from some storage center- when they placed it in they added water. Hard to see with bubbles everywhere.
Other issues are vents popping out. Neighbors really cant believe the quality and got on me to write review.

Envoy - High Quality - Used Every Day

We love the Envoy. We had originally arranged to buy a low cost rotationally molded spa from our dealer. Pretty soon we realized that it was very poor quality just stepping into it and seeing the bottom flex. Hot Spring spas appear to be the highest quality on the market and the Envoy with the Moto Massage was the way to go for my Wife’s back pain issues. The salt system is easy to maintain every week. Possibly the highest cost spa in the showroom but a one time purchase and fully expect to get 20 years of use from it. Ensure software is upgraded from demo mode on delivery as this caused some headaches with the supplier.

Great Spa/ Coolzone not so much

We purchased the Envoy hot tube and love it. Great tub and easy to use. We added the Coolzone to be able to use it in the Texas summer when temps are 95-100 deg F. We have never been able to get the chiller part of the cool zone to work.It only works as a heater but no chiller, at least my unit. I will try and get in touch with a dealer or someone who knows about this piece of equipment. All in all, the hot is very good and we are happy with that part of it.
