Unfortunately we have not received very good service from our local dealer so have not yet enjoyed the benefits of the fresh water system.
The water reading on the sensor only seemed to work for about two weeks. We were unable to get good advice from our to dealer as to how to stabilize our water quality after three months of ownership.

Our Jetsetter LX is a marvelous treat every evening! Relaxing in the warmth of the water under the stars is a delight! The jets provide a soothing massage in just the right places. The colorful lighting is just fun. This freshwater salt system with its monitoring panel is relatively easy to maintain and free of any harsh chemicals. Setting up the system is a little tricky but folks from Allen Pools and Spas have been available and very helpful. Do not hesitate to invest in this hot tub and the comfort it will provide you for years to come!

Where to start?
Bought unit at Watsons in Kalamazoo MI.
Great salesman then things went south.
Cover sent didn’t fit, they sent out a replacement right away, but that one folded the wrong direction.
I guess they are finding us the correct one.
Freshwater IQ system not installed on unit even though it was supposed to be!
Never got our water test strips, never got startup salt, never got phosphate test kit!
Just a sign of the times, no one has any pride in what they do now days!

We replaced a Sovereign with the smaller Jetsetter. We love it and the size is perfect for my wife and I. I selected the salt water system and have been pleased with the ease of maintaining the chemical.

Poor build quality and reliability

We’ve just about had the spa for 3 years and in that time, it’s developed 2 leaks and a circuit board went bad. Even after repairing the board, certain lights don’t work. We not have another leak.

Owned a Hot Springs hot tub for 20 years. Only had normal maintenance issues. It never leaked. Electronics finally failed and could not be replaced (obsolete after 20 years). So we replaced it with a new Hot Springs hot tub in 2021. Hot tub is set up in a protected enclosed deck. Now, 3 years later, it started to leak. Service tech could not determine the location of the leak. Hot tub has to be transported back to a shop to find where it is leaking. Dealer is backed up fixing leaks and cannot service our hot tub for at least a month. Hot tub is under warranty but still very disappointed. Given our experience with our first Hot Springs hot tub, wondering if the quality of Hot Springs has gone down hill.

Great quality. This our second HotSpring Spa. The first was an Aria model which we used almost every day. It stayed with our home when we sold and moved to Arizona from California. The first thing we did upon taking possession of our new home was to order a Jetsetter LX. Love it! The big selling point is the moto massage. Excellent therapy for a bum back.

This is our 3rd spa and 2nd Hot Springs Jetsetter LX. We love our spa and know the ease of water care and the enjoyment of the relaxing water jets make for a fun time morning or evening, summer or winter! We live in South Carolina near the beach, but getting in the hot tub on our back porch is great. The water care and set up is easy, but I will admit that the new IQ smart panel is not as accurate as the paper water testing strips do, so I would not recommend adding the $700 IQ SMART PANEL SYSTEM. IT NEEDS TO BE SMARTER. We were told by the salesman that the smart IQ system is worth the $700, and that it worked great. Then once we had our spa installed and set up the water, he told us to trust the paper test strips, not the IQ system. Going to ask for my money back on that not so smart screen. But really, the hot tub is wonderful and Hot Springs really does make the best fresh water salt system and hot tub out there. Love it

This spa is a great size for one or two users. The salt water is so therapeutic and healthy. I find taking care of this spa is so much easier than the Hot Springs Vanguard spa I had for over 15 years. The IQ system is a great addition to help you maintain the water. I prefer the ceramic filters to the paper ones also. The use of a lighter cover always you to easily open and close the cover with much more ease.

Hot tub cover failed with catastrophic consequences.

This is my second Hotsprings spa. The first one lasted 10 years without any difficulty. That’s why I purchased a new one when the time came to replace it. However, this one has been a nightmare to manage the water chemicals. I will never have another salt water system. Just after a couple of years the cover became waterlogged and retained so much water I could hardly lift it. I have now had to cut it apart and found it full of black mold. I’ve tried to gently remove and dispose of the disintegrated plastic inner lining and very fearful I got exposed to the black mold. This was a poorly constructed cover. Be very careful of your purchase and do your research.

This is our first hot tub which is the JetSetter LX 3 person tub. The installation was excellent, though the communication from Mainely Tubs regarding the electrical set up was confusing at times. You need an electrician to do most of the setup before hand, and then come back to complete it once the hot tub was installed. We had the team from Mainely Tubs come back after all was setup to walk us through the water maintenance and they were great in walking us through everything. The built in salt system is amazing, as is the touch screen that shows pretty much all of the water levels and what is needed to balance the water. We is the tub pretty much every night and love it!

While the tech within the Jetsetter LX is impressive, the information provided is much less so. The delivery/installation crew was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable to a point and provided the requisite paperwork. I'm still left with many essential questions unanswered regarding many functions of the touch panel, personal timers, clean cycles, adding chemicals with jets and subsequent timing, and the like. My previous Hot Spring spas, absent the advanced technology were simpler and more straightforward so did not require such in-depth information. This one does and I"m disappointed at the lack of information provided.

Had it for a month. Been in it three times having difficulty getting the salt system monitoring system working properly.the spa manufactured so much chlorine that it started rusting all of the jet housings.had to dump it and start all over again.not too happy with it.

Great spa…however…

In 2022, we purchased our first Jetsetter LX spa. It was during Covid, and unfortunately, the price was pretty high! Probably $5000 over what they are selling for now. After less than one year, the acrylic floor, where you step in, cracked. The tub began to leak. Our local dealer was awesome with customer service and they had the tub replaced within about 6 to 8 weeks. We then got upgraded to a 2023. Better jets and a nicer cover. Ironically, after almost one year again, the same acrylic floor, in the same spot, cracked once again and began to leak. We are not overly heavy or large people, and we’re surprised that even after two tubs, the exact same problem reoccured. Once again, our local dealer took care of the problem and tomorrow we are supposed to receive our third brand new tub, this time the 2024 model. They were stunned that out of three problematic tubs in the year, two of them were ours. They double checked our slab, took photos, and realized that it was not of any fault due to us. Just a manufacturing defect. We are hoping and praying that this third tub is the charm! A few upgraded features, but exact same tub. Keeping our fingers crossed! We have been very lucky that our dealer here in town has been amazing and have totally taken care of things on our behalf. Other than that, we have loved both tubs and can’t imagine life without it considering our sore, aching bodies! 🙏🏻🤞🏻

We enjoy the spa and previously owned the Vanguard Hot Springs hot tub. It seems the care and maintenance with FreshWater Salt System is more complicated with cartridges that need replacing, salt and chemicals and “”Smart” technology involved. It’s a bit intimidating and hope we can maintain the spa correctly.
