Love this tub but need better model manuals/instructions

The wife and I am just starting to enjoy the hot tub. The setup of the "freshwater" salt system was easy. Right now, my only complaint (hence lower values for comfort and value is the lack of instructions for the specific model owned. For my jetsetter, the manual is generic for all highlife models. Within the highlife models they are all some similarities but also many differences. As we are new to hot tubs/spas, information on suggested use for the adjusting of jets and the various levers would help. The getting started should be for each model not generic as some units don't have all features as others. Info on the smart jet, comfort control, water feature is minimal. Videos should be made available for setting and using these features. I am confident that in a while I will master this but c'mon...For what you pay for these, you could do a better job.

Fantastic spa, always ready to hop in

We wanted a spa to be ready at a moments notice.
The spa stays perfectly heated and has fantastic insulation and a great cover.
Hector our salesperson was attentive knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
We feel the quality of the spa will allow many years of enjoyment.

Can’t get the control pad to connect to spa therefore can’t use spa

Bought Jetsetter and had installed in our new house. As it was cranes into basement had to wait for house to be completed to start up. We have had two other HS Spas and live them. This one we bought with ACE and it is in a nice spa room.

So we stayed with HS Spa. Little did we know there is t a dealer within 200 miles. So much for any type of service.

Spa sat for almost 12 months while house was completed. First problem was the cheap shut off valve on the drain line. Faulty and leaked water everywhere. Lucky have a drain in the room, but wasted entire tub full of water. Replaced with a high quality valve - no leaks so far.

Turned on electrical and ended up with flashing lights. OK put too cold of water in so it locked up the relay. Drain half our and retry.

Finally got tub filled with Luke warm water, but the control panel will not connect to spa. Tried all the fixes, took battery out, pressed and held jets button to allow rest, extra. Nothing works. Our dealer has sent a usb drive and have not tried that.

Now the ACE system shows power to the system, but the online light is not on and the error light is blinking.

Also the jets will not start up. Press the button and you here a clicking noise but nothing starts.

Have checked wiring over and over. Unless I am a total idiot (which might be the case) the wiring looks correct.

Dealer is trying to serve me via iPhone and video calls. But to no avail. No one will come out to see the tub. 13,000 of dead useless got tub on my basement.

Best Decision - Best Money Spent - No Regrets

I did a lot of research before settling on my Salt Water Jetsetter hot tub. I had no regrets after I made the purchase and have had no regrets ever since. I am disabled and the hot water and the jets have made a huge difference in my life. It is easy to care for and simple to maintain. I highly recommend this hot tub to anybody who is out there searching for the perfect job for relaxation and to make your body feel better!

My new friend

I had major back surgery to remove a tumor crushing my spinal cord. A bone had to be removed to get to the tumor. I have been in recovery for just over a year. I got my tub about 9 months into recovery. My tub is my new friend ! I live alone. My back/neck aches everyday!My new tub takes away all my pain, even if for only a little while. The Moto massage is great for massaging my spine. I’m in it several times a week. Call me crazy, I say hello dear friend just about every time I get in it ! I recently drained and filled it for my first time. I was nervous but I did it all by myself ! Not hard at all ! Great small tub, great for single person ! I hope to have many years of enjoyment out of my tub !

2nd Hot Spring Spa

We purchased a trade in spa a few years ago but it had become over 13 years old a decided to upgrade to a new spa. What I like about Hot Springs is the customer support and parts availability.
The new spas are very well design for ease of maintenance & repair. The fiberglass panels with the clips are much more user friendly. The new remote control along with the lighting package inside & out is awesome.

3 months old - parts are rusting

This is my third Hot Springs hot tub. The tub is 3 months old. The remote has never linked back up with the tub after water change. I have to remove the remote from the tub area until it "searches for tub". It took 2 weeks to even get a call back. They sent a tech out and he removed the batteries to reset but it still doesn't link up. They are still asking me to pay for this service call. I get a brown ring around the tub after water changes. The metal rings around the lights and jets are starting to rust. Maybe this is where the brown ring is coming from? I've stopped using the salt system and now I only use chlorine to try to stop the rust. They will not honor the warranty because I run an Airbnb in half of my home and I live in the other half. I purchased this tub for my personal enjoyment. I could have purchased a cheap hot tub for my guests. I was not provide with any warranty information until after my purchase. I would not recommend.

Have had the spa 2 years and the salt system hasn’t worked at all. Used 3 cartridges in the first year. And none were successful. Love the spa but the salt system was a scam. Tried numerous times within the year warrantee to have the dealer do something, to no avail

I have rheumatoid arthritis and am constantly having joint pain. Since getting this hot tub 2.5 weeks ago, that pain has decreased tremendously and I have even stopped taking one of my anti-inflammatory drugs.

I get in the hot tub 2 - 3 times a day. Once in the morning before work and once in the evening before bed. If I find time mid day, I get in again.

The health benefits I am already feeling from this makes this one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I held off on buying a hot tub for years thinking it would be high maintenance. Now that I finally purchased a spa, I see how wrong I was in that line of thought. The maintenance is a breeze! I couldn’t be happier with my choice of a Hot Springs spa. I love the quality and exceptional service I receive from my local dealer. My only regret is that I waited so long to make this purchase!

Jetsetter LX - very disappointed in the design

Second Hot Springs tub for us. Just removed the 1st one after about 25 yrs of service. Very disappointed in the design of the Jetsetter LX tub. Its hard to get into the tub - too high and no place to sit on side - top of filter has tipped a couple times and will break if sat on but its' right by the area to get in and out. I would rather do without lights on top and have a place to sit on side to safely get out of tub. Glad I ordered the hand rail even if I don't have it yet due to factory not sending all the bolt parts with it. Because of the extra 4 inches height, and lack of easy area to sit, its hard to safely get in or out of tub.

We have had our spa just over a week and our under water lights are acting up. We have called the sales person which told us “oh they are hard to get to” which means what?
We’ll get back to you in a few days. It now has been 2 days, not happy with him from the start!
As note we paid cash and hope the end is a happy one!
Also we have not received our electric bill so do not know on efficiency.

I live in Shapleigh Maine cold winters can be hard. Just wondering what your first electric bill looks like. They are efficient but....they give you and average monthly increase which doesn’t tell you what it’s like in the winter. 40 dollar average increase could mean summer months at 15 bucks spring and fall about 30. winter months and extra 100 bucks? averages over the year doesn’t tell you what it really is.

Finest hot tub made, glad we did much research prior to purchase. color of shell and base not the same as the catalogue/website photos. very disappointed in this. Suggest seeing the unit before choosing. Cost is twice that of other brands, get what you pay for.

I’m in love. Knowing that warm, watery bliss is just steps away, and available 24/7 has changed my outlook on life. My Jetsetter was delivered and set up (in the middle of a pandemic no less) by a great local team of spa professionals. Best gift I’ve ever given myself.
