Best Hot Tub I ever owned

Overall, the Hot Tub is great. The reason I gave it 4 vs 5 on comfort is I feel that it is a little too shallow. the value rating is because of cost. The other thing that would be helpful is the owner's manual needs improvement as in having a separate manual form the other tubs. Everything is lumped together to save print cost, but it needs an upgrade.
I must admit it is the best tub I have ever owned.

Could not be more pleased with our Jetsetter.
Can't believe how comfortable it is, how good the massage, how easy the water maintenance, and how little energy, products or water it spends. Saltwater is a plus too
We did research a lot, and it has paid big time.
The installation by Recreational Spas of Naples was quick and smooth, so easy!

30 years old and still going strong

We have had a Jetsetter pool for 30 years now. Each fall we remove the pump and have the local New Jersey dealer blow it out and cover it for the winter. Still works like new. Even our dealer is amazed at how old it is but still working fine.

Tub yes, cover absolutely not

We have been Hot Springs customers for 30 years. We purchased our third one in 2015 and had to replace the cover in 2019. This was in December 2019. The surface material was treated monthly with the 303 protectant recommended by our dealer. During the summer of 2020 the stitching thru the centre holding the two sides together began to tear apart. We told our dealer, but no remedy. We restitched the gap with a product from a tipi maker - problem fixed. Winter of 2021/22 the seam totally came apart except for our needlework!!!!
Very, very disappointed that such a super hot tub, does not deserve a better cover. At least better thread. Replacing every two years rather expensive.

Wonderful Spa

We did quite an amount of research before settling on our Jetsetter LX. It fits our back patio perfectly and has been very easy to maintain thus far. We workout together from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Then, we get in our spa from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Then we are ready for dinner and some relaxation at night. Our sleep is better as we are not as sore as before. It really works well! Couldn't be happier!

Enjoying our Jet Setter LX

We are enjoying our Jet Setter LX hot tub. We like the design, comfort and quality. We are having some difficulty regulating the water chemistry with the salt system even though our usage is consistent at twice a week. We wish there was a high and low setting of the jets for added variety. Overall, we are happy with our hot tub.

Not Perfect, but it'll do

The Jetsetter LX seemed fine when we dry tried the spa configuration in the showroom. However, once delivered and running we were sorry we didn't go with a different spa. Jetsetter is a bit cramped for even two people, but we're getting used to it. I guess we got spoiled with our previous 6+ person spa.

I can absolutely see how going from a six-person spa to a two-person spa would feel a little crowded! Like you said, it's a big adjustment.

The Jetsetter LX is a fantastic luxury spa that is made to be enjoyed with very close family and friends.

Water regulation can sometimes be a challenge when you get a new spa. There are many factors involved, such as your water source, weather, and other outside factors. We would be happy to work with your dealer to regulate your water if needed.

You can adjust the speed of the jets, or even turn them off, by using the jet icon on your control panel screen. You can reference your owner's manual on page seven for more details. I've added the link below.

The Jets only have one setting with this tub on or off... The Salt System doesn't seem to work at all. Just had to install a second cartridge in 3 months and still isn't working.

Bait and switch freshwater system

I bought Hot Springs solely for Salt Water System. What I was sold was the ozone system. Dealer indicated he informed me (not) of need for more frequent cartridge replacement with salt water. Had that conversation taken place, I likely would have bought from a competitor for a spa costing $3k less than what I paid.

So is freshwater salt incompatible with freshwater ozone? The literature reads as though both could be used together (for even more effective and efficient use of chlorine). Please clarify BEFORE I invest in the tub!!

Really enjoy this high quality hot tub. Use it every night even when the outside temps are in the 20s. Recommend the Fresh Water system and the audio system which has amazing sound. The cover lift is also nice. Back message and jets are excellent.

We are very happy with our tub. There were only two minor issues. One was a broken corner which they have ordered a replacement for. The other was the wiring diagram which was very easy to read except it is incorrect. The 20 amp breaker has the red wire in the center and the white wire on the bottom. When wired that way the jets have very little pressure and it turned off after 30 minutes. When we called they wanted pictures of the tub wiring and breaker panel. The expert told us the white wire needed to be in the center. The 30 amp breaker only uses two wires but has 3 terminals. I guessed right on it but when the expert told us the white wire needed to be in the center, I assumed I had guessed wrong becaused he didn't tell me which breaker he was talking about. We got it right and it works fine. Thank you.

Salt water issue

I purchased this salt water version with the expectation that it would require fewer water changes and able to “generate “ its own chlorine to minimize adding extra. I have had this tub 15 months and have found it is proving to be a challenge. I have found that I need to change the water every 3-4 months and had to buy a water softener to do this. The tub is fine and like the functionality but the salt water maintenance seems to be much more expensive then the fresh water.

You should not have to change your water frequently; it should last 12 months. The system is designed to generate chlorine based on your settings. Our goal is to make sure you get maximum enjoyment with your spa.

We have had our Limelight Flair for about 3 years now. The salt water treatment really took some time to get used to. Understanding how it works is very important, as well as following the set up, operation and care instructions for it. Once we got it figured out and were better about following care instructions it has been much better and we do enjoy it over the Chlorine / Bromine method! Definitely is much less intensive that the care with chlorine.
I think the only thing we don't care for is that there tends to be a salt ring around the water line that needs to be scrubbed off regularly.
