Not worth the extra cost

Bought in 2015. Currently on 3rd leak. 2nd should have been covered on warranty but wasn't because repair was completed after it expired. Now local dealer wants 250.00 to come check the current leak. Hot springs should be charged with fraud. Salt system requires wand replacement every 12 to 16 months for 800 + to maintain operation. This hot tub not worth the cost.

I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your spa starts leaking. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. I see that unfortunately your spa is not covered under warranty since it's been eight years since you bought it.
Based on the details you've shared, it seems like you have the ACE salt system installed. You're absolutely right that the salt cell needs to be replaced every 16 to 17 months, and you'll also need to replenish your water care supplies. But, the good news is that there are several options available to keep your spa's water care in check. For instance, you can use granular chlorine, which one bottle can last for a few months based on your spa usage.

Salt cell replacement

Amazon has an after market that is about $250.00 and easy to install. The Scepter Salt Cell® on Amazon. Mine has been working on my Aria for over 3 years. Always check Youtube for repair videos. Most fixes are pretty easy. Good luck

We have only had the spa for less than a month. So far, we love it. We use it every day. We have the salt system. The water is crystal clear. So relaxing. We feel great when we get out. We landscaped around it to make it a special retreat. The Spa is pricey but since we are both retired, we decided to splurge and enjoy our retirement at home. The only suggestion I have is to have a flat surface in the front so you can sit and swing your legs over. I feel a little unsteady climbing over the front wall.

Soakin' and Swimming around in my big beautiful Aria Salt Water Hot Tub. This is the Greatest one out of the 3 I have owned in the 30 years of wanting and needing to R & R after a days work of physical labor. My feet, legs, hands, back, neck and shoulders are so so very happy.
Your salespeople are awesome and very kind, caring and helpful whenever I had any questions. You all are the BEST! I recommend Montana Hot Springs to everyone I know.

We are absolutely enjoying our 2023 Aria, we are 1st time hot tub owners and were apprehensive to learning water chemistry, it was a breeze. The Moto massagers were the attraction when purchasing, the comfort of the lounger and chair were exactly what we expected, amazing for our back muscles, I’m finding that there is nothing better than running the jets and having a nice soak after a stressful day. Our local dealer has been the best, from initial set up to water testing for prevention, they are with us all the way.

Over all we are very pleased with our new spa. I had some trouble getting the water balanced, but Mary and Matt at Hot Springs helped me get it right. The service so far has been excellent.

This has been a great replacement for my prior sundance spa. I use it nearly every morning enjoying a cup of coffee in the lounger seat as the sun comes up in the morning. This is a great start to a wonderful day. It has been extremely easy to care for the salt water system with it requiring far less maintenance than what I was used to.

Helps me with an old injury

About 18 years ago I fell and shattered my left heel bone and fractured the right heel bone. After reconstructive surgery and a few less significant surgeries, 6 months of no weight bearing and three more months of gradual weight bearing, I was finally able to walk again. But the residual ache and pain is lifelong. My spa has plenty of jets to provide targeted massage of my feet and ankles. Now I can walk better, stand longer, and even play singles tennis without days of elevated pain and limping days afterward. For me, my Hot Springs spa isn’t a luxury, it’s real therapy. The salt water version I purchased was the smartest decision because caring for the spa is as close to being maintenance free as I could have imagined. Love my Hot Springs Aria spa!

We are very pleased with our new spa. we have been a hot tub owner for over 20 years and we have had our new Aria spa for a couple months.
it has been great. our only concern at this point is the salt water system is not producing enough chlorine. We have had it set on 10 and boost regularly and still have to add chlorine & oxidizer.
It is so comfortable and has great jet action.

We have never owned a hot tub before but are loving this one! Set up was a breeze, maintenance has been easy and the comfort that the hot water brings is immeasurable. The Aria has multiple ways of targeting sore muscles, from the moto back massage to shoulders and feet. We love it!

I love getting in my Aria and whiling away the time.
I do not like having to keep watch on the chemical balances and all the education I have to do on my own.
Since I'm in Arizona I also purchased a chiller for year round comfort.

Our brand-new Aria is set to 105 but consistently measures to near and over 107 degrees. We are unable to maintain a temperature that we are happy with.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out about your spa. Spa safety is important. A spa set temperature has a two-degree margin.
Since our spas are well insulated, on hot days the spa may retain additional heat, increasing beyond the set temperature.
Depending on the model spa you have you can turn off circulation times, or adjust the heater. There is also an optional cooler that can be added to the spa, Coolzone.

I have had my spa two months and have read all the literature multiple times and still have trouble understanding the operation and water quality.
The installers didn't even level the tub so my water level is always off which effects the upper jets.
It seems to me once the deal was signed my concerns were only mine.

Product itself performs well but getting access to parts from an aftersales perceptive is a nightmare. The wireless controller has broken and no one is able to provide an ETA as to when stock will be available to replace it! Given the cost and supposedly quality of these products, it is severely let down by after sales. Buyers beware if it goes wrong you may not be able to use it for long periods of time whilst you wait for parts!

We have owned our HotSpring Aria for almost exactly 3 years and we have never had any issues with it. It is a fabulous hot tub and I am glad we chose it. It is very comfortable, has multiple seating options for people of different heights, and the jets are soothing. Our friends are also very complimentary of the hot tub when they use it -- it's clearly a very high quality tub. I highly recommend HotSpring Spas, and particularly this Aria model.

It's a great tub until you have warranty issues. Hot Springs dose not back their warranty. They will put the blame on the consumer to get out of honoring the warranty.

We love our spa. We get in nightly, takes care of aches and pains. We both have back and knee trouble but since owning our spa it's almost a thing of the past. I would recommend anyone to have one. You don't know what you have till it's gone. Having worked for a pool and spa distributor, I have seen many brands but the Hot Spring brand has less problems and better quality than the others. I wouldn't buy anything else.
