I have had in ground hot tubs but they have airways been less than satisfactory. Not enough jets and airways in the wrong places. My wife has had 2 other Hot Springs. She says that this is the best one. You will be happy.

In less than a year, the thermostat failed twice. It was reading the water was at temp when in actuality it was cold and getting colder. 2 months after the first time it was fixed, it happened again. Then the oscillating back jet failed. Now it makes a loud humming sound. I can’t figure it out. Parts are under warranty but labor is not - which makes no sense. So now I’m trying to find out why it has this continuous loud humming sound. Not a happy hot spring owner.

Hot Springs High Life Collection Aria Hot Tub Numerous phone calls to get the moto-massager fixed. It stopped moving. Each time they promise someone will call back. Four months later, still no one has returned our calls. No service from their customer service department. The moto-massager stopped moving after just a few months. Why do we have to rinse and clean these filters so often? The hot tub we had 30+ years ago was easier to maintain. The steps could be much nicer. Difficult to climb in and out of. Call us back! Fix the moto-massager!

I purchased the Hotsprings Aria in 2015. This hot tub has leaked a majority of the time that I have owned it. It was finally removed and repaired. I insisted on this since it was still under warranty. The hot tub was returned and did not leak for a few months and then started leaking again. It is not covered under warranty anymore. I am using Fix a Leak and hope this will seal the leaks. I have not been happy with this hot tub.

We use the hot tub almost everyday and love it. We have the PHin monitor that shows the sanitizer taking a nosedive after using the spa and the Freshwater system doesn’t seem to be keeping up even at setting 9. Not sure what this means for long-term intervention.

Don't buy HotSpring, Jacuzzi is much more reliable

We have had many hot tubs over the years and this has been the most expensive and the worst. We've had it for 6 years and have had so many problems with it. The filter system is supert fussy, it shuts itself off and goes cold if the filters need cleaning, which would be fine, but it shuts itself off every few days even when the filters are completely clean and no one has used the tub. So it's always cold when you want to get in. The latest round of repairs, another leak and heater issue, we've been told that it needs to be hauled out (it's down 3 flights of steps) and taken to the repair shop and brought back again for 3K. At this point, we just want Creative Energy to come and take it away so we can buy a Jacuzzi, which would should have done in the first place. They have told us that they no longer remove spas, we cannot even pay to have them take it away. We have a Jacuzzi at another house that's 10 years old and it's much easier to keep clean and it's still working perfectly. I will never buy HotSpring again.

It sounds like your spa was going into 'Protection Mode', which can be caused by a clogged or dirty filter. Even when the filters appear visibly clean, they may still have tiny particles that build up over time, requiring the filters to need replacement.

Very happy with my purchase. It’s been wonderful and we use it as much as possible, probably 4-5 times per week. The water care is the only concern as it’s a bit more than I’d like but that should be expected when working with water and chemicals. I will say I wouldn’t trade it in for anything else as I’m surprised at how Ofer be we’re using it during the summer months. Never before have I wished for the fall so I can really enjoy those cold evenings!

water care documentation has conflicting information between the owners manual, the fresh water manual and the instructions on the water care packaging. Dealers in NJ do not know what they are doing or do not care to educate their customers. Customer Service from Watkins has also been poor. Good luck, After 16 months I am still trying to figure my slat system out.

We finally made the purchase of our Aria HSS after years of admiring the hot tubs of our friends. It was a major purchase, but we could not be happier. The salt water system has a much better feel to the skin than a traditional tub and it could not be easier to take care of. The staff at Mountain Hot Tub was excellent to work with.
