Sitting depth is not as comfortable as old spa. Placement of foot massager two on one side, none on the other. Old spa had one on each side much better. Temperature has to be set higher to fell hot compared to last HotSpring spa, maybe it requires a high degree for the saltwater spa than freshwater. Opening mechanical compartment is much more troublesome than the old spas. Miss the tile, which added a nice touch and color. The slick surface of the new spa is much more slippery than the old one. I will have to say I regret getting rid of my old HotSprings but I wanted a Saltwater one since I spend so much time in it, HotSpring is still the best spa, but you do pay for it. My new one was over $22,000. Warmest aloha

We had a good service provider locally in the gulf shores alabama area. But something changed and our new service provider is an hour away. My hot tub wasn't heating and we all know an element was not working. The service provider said it was a pump...well a pump doesn't heat. I have been waiting now for TWO MONTHS to fix my hot tub. This is unacceptable. Please help me. It shouldn't take 2 months. To make matters worse, there is little communication form the service provider. I spent over 16k for this tub and cant even use it. frustrated.

Ordered my spa and paid to have Bluetooth music package included. Not only did the spa not arrive with Bluetooth installed but spent countless hours on customer service phone lines working to get it resolved. Come to be told three weeks after install that HotSprings can’t offer the necessary materials to install the literal capability they promote, and so a third party system was install instead - I get this told to me after they did it. So much disconnect from manufacture and retailer- constant he said- she said. All the issues fall on the consumer. Spent 20k for a huge headache, broken promises and poor quality equipment. Will never look to do this again.

Love--The Seats and Jets. The Seats are so comfortable. I actually move between 3 of the seats because I get a different massage in each of the seats. The Jets hit all the right spots. Love--The remote control. I keep it in the house. I turn on the exterior lights before I walk out to the tub. The "Memory" setting is great. Love--The Cover and Lifter. The Cover fits so good to seal in the heat. The Lifter is so easy to operate. Love--The Salt System. It keeps the chlorine level perfect and hardly any chemical smell.
This is actually my second Hot Spring Vanguard Hot Tub. The first one was a 2007 model that I sold with the house in 2012. I've missed it for the past 12 years. Now I finally have another one.

The spa features are great, and moving throughout the seats is a great way to maximize all that the spa has to offer. The spa remote is a convenient feature. While we don't recommend keeping it off the spa docking charger, we are happy you find it useful. Please make sure you are keeping it charged.

Each area to sit gives a different experience, each one wonderful! I can be in it by myself and travel from one section to another, or have a few friends in and still feel like we’re not too crowded – the foot area is generous. Customer service has been prompt and professional. This was an investment, but I’ve had it for four months and it has been a real game changer for relaxation and muscle soreness. I have every expectation that this will continue to bring me joy for many years to come.

We replaced a 17 year old Envoy hot spring tub with the Vanguard last fall. Absolutely love the salt water soak! It doesn't dry our skin or cause itching. Water stays clear and inviting. We upgraded our cover and it is beautiful and easy to open/close. HotSpring brand is the only way to tub!

The Hot Spring Spa is absolutely the best Spa on the market. My first Hot Spring hot tub was purchased in 2004. It lasted until 2022 with only the heater and top being replaced. After searching for a replacement, I choose to return to Hot Spring for a VANGUARD model. Again, it was a great choice

After trips to every spa store in town we decided to go with the Hot Spring Vanguard. We ordered the exact combination we wanted and it took just over a month to get in. Once delivered and installed this spa really made a difference in our lives. We use it all the time and maintenance is a breeze. If you are considering a spa look no further. Go to different dealers and pick the one that's right for you and your family. My only regret is not getting one sooner.

My wife and I both have back issues and our Hotspring Hot Tub has truly helped with our back pain and relaxation. The Moto Jets on our Vanguard are amazing and unlike any tub jets we have experienced. We have the ozone method for keeping the tub fresh and clean. It is very easy to take care of and with only a drain and fill once a year, how simple is that? We highly recommend the Hotspring Vanguard model!

Still getting used to managing the water but have it down to regulating the chlorine with the freshwater salt system. Maintenance is very easy and tub holds the temp very well. My wife and I use all the seats for various patterns.

The Vanguard is our second spa and we were hesitant to dive into the spa world again. Our old spa was not energy efficient and required more attention to keep the water where it needed to be. I'm very glad we pulled the trigger because the Vanguard hasn't increased our electric bill much at all and with the saltwater system option the water chemistry is a piece of cake to take care of!
The spa is comfortable and has so many seating options you will fall involve with the layout! Our old spa had a wooden frame and many places for critters to make their way into the warmth of the heater. With the entire Fram on the Vanguard being poly there are few if any places for mice to get in and destroy the wiring and electronics.
I highly recommend the Hot Springs - Vanguard Spa

I purchased a Hot Springs Vanguard model in 2014. Other than maintenance items my spa was very good and enjoyable. If you are considering having the moto massagers, Don't. They are good when they worked but only last 2-3 years $$$. If you are considering the salt option, don't, cell needs to be replaced every 3 years, $$$, subsequently went to a mineral stick.. I maintain my spa regularly and beyond what I mentioned above my spa was enjoyable. A little over 6 years of owning this spa the serious issues began. My spa developed a leak, tech told me he had never seen one leak. Well, $1100 later and half of the foam insulation being removed the leak was fixed. I have had 2 subsequent leaks over the last 2 years at $300-$500. In summary spending $15k for a spa that only lasted 6 1/2 years before major issues began is just unacceptable. I am looking for a suitable replacement as I cannot continue to waste money on this spa.

Thank you for taking the time to share your spa experience. I'm sorry to hear that your spa required service for jets and leaks, which must have been frustrating.
You have raised some valid points about the spa that I would like to address. All water care requires replenishment, whether it's by adding a new bottle of chlorine or a salt cell.
The ACE system salt cells typically last for an average of two years, I'm glad to hear that yours lasted three years. However, I understand your disappointment if the average lifespan was not explained to you.
Furthermore, the Freshwater salt system salt cartridge currently in use are replaced every four months.
It's important that all customers are aware of what to expect in terms of spa maintenance and care.

Most people probably think it’s best to soak in a spa after a hard day of work, and I understand the appeal of that. For my husband and me, however, it’s the greatest way to start the day. Meditating, and conversing in the soothing water with our first cup of coffee off the day, almost always insures a great beginning to a great day! We love how easy it is to care for our Vanguard spa! We use it every day, and it’s absolutely no fuss to keep it in optimal condition. The greatest thing about owning a Hot Spring Spa? We purchased the spa, but the company still has our back!
