Making purchases during covid was not easy. I ordered my hot tub during the summer. I did not expect it til end of November or December. Delivery was set for Septemeber. The hot tub arrived before Haloween. I think that's pretty good timing. The stereo is awesome. The lights are great. I am so glad that it is here and running. The jets are a great health benefit to someone who has survived stage 4 cancer and now recovering from covid. Have a great Year Debbie

- I've had my vanguard now for 6 weeks up and running and already its telling me I need a new salt cartridge - salt has been in yellow status most of that time until now in red. I was told these would last 4 months and only have to be replaced at regular cleanings. - The locking mechanism on my locks broke within the first week. I called the Elko store to advise, spoke with Josh and have not heard back from anyone yet. -The controller for the waterfall popped off and now does not seem to make the length of the arc as large as long as it first did. -Lastly, the touch screen on my controller does not always respond.

Great quality hot tub if you’re for excellent quality rather than a budget hot tub. Insulation, horse power, easy of access to control panels if there an issue and you need repairs have all been thought through with a HotSprings tub. My only recommendation is to sit in the tub and carefully decide on the exact size you need. I was originally told 90% of the time you’ll never have more than 2 people in the tub at the same time. Even though that’s the case with me, I still wonder if I should have spent the extra few thousand dollars on a slightly bigger model. It’s a personal preference. Only complain with this model is that the oscillating jets that move up and down are so powerful that often times it pushes me off my seat, but you can experiment with the power control dials to find the right adjustment.

We have had our spa for 4 months. I have owned a pool for 13 years and haven't had a single down day in 7 years. Therefore, I feel like I'm pretty good at taking care of water. The spa itself is amazing. The jets and the options they have are abundant. The light package is also stunning. But here's the but..... I have had cloudy water for 2out of the 4 months that we've had our tub. It happened the first time I took the filters out to clean them. I spent over a month trying to get it clear with the help of my local shop. I finally had to drain it and start over. The whole time it was cloudy, my chemicals were "perfect" according to my shop. So 1 month after draining it and starting over, I went to clean the filters again (it had been clear to that point) and I came back out to reinstall them to a cloudy tub again. It was like me taking the filters out started washing them out in the tub and instead of it staying in the filter compartment, it leached into the tub again. It is not as bad as last time, but still annoying given the amount of money that has already been spent on this unit.

Bought a vanguard hot tub thinking we would be getting the best. We have discovered that the salt cartridges only last 2 months instead of 4. We have to add chemical consistently so it doesn’t turn green and smell like a gym sock. The salt system doesn’t do its job and the remote is not durable and hard to replace. I don’t get any help from the dealer and it’s become frustrating.

So far, so good! The vanguard has been dependable and very comfortable. There has been a little strangeness here and there with the thermostat and the automatic shut-off if there's observed strain through the filters. It's working by design it seems... I think we're mostly learning what the processes are for filter maintenance, cleaning, how the sensor reacts to powering up and down of the jets, etc. and the like. Overall, very comfortable and dependable with a good build quality. Maintenance seems easy enough with weekly rituals involving water treatment and filter rotations.

All I can say is... Wow! Why didn’t we do this earlier? From the initial call with the salesperson, Marika, to the guys that delivered it, everything was spot on and perfect. The only thing better was the first dip with my family. So glad we did this. The hot tub far exceeds our expectations.

Purchased my Vanguard about a month ago and mostly love it. It seems well built, although I do have some redesign suggestions I won’t mention here because HotSprings deleted my last review because I was too specific and they didn’t want you to know my opinion in detail.
I would recommend this spa to others.
I do have these harmless suggestions for improvement:
1. The controller should have time/date
2. A timer should be provided to keep track of how long you’ve been in
3. All lock out functions should be pin code protected.
4. There is currently only one memory setting. There should be at least three

This is our second Vanguard - first was purchased in 2010. Lots of Nice upgrades in our 2020 model. Love the detachable control pad which we remove when grandkids visit. Our only problem is that the docking tray function buttons don’t work very well so we end up going into the house to turn the spa on and off from the “hidden” control pad.

We have never owned a hot tub before and I was really nervous about the maintenance. We had great support from our dealer and the process is really easy. We are in a quick routine that we can do once a week and have learned the additional few steps to perform once a month. We are in it everyday.

We owned three Vita Spas and one Caldera Span which served us well for 18 years, but finally failed. Coincidentally, a friend had recently purchased a Hot Springs Spa which I tried out during a recent visit to their home. After sitting in it for 15 minutes I was sold and purchased a Hot Springs in April which has been fantastic. Great tub, easy to operate, easy to keep clean and looks amazing.

So far the tubs been good (2 months old) but immediately we noticed 2 big problems with the lid. Where the easy lift is attached to the lid the mounts have already pulled away and on the front of the lid whenever it rains there is a giant lake. Need to use a long handled window cleaner to push off the water before we can open the lid. Still Waiting on warranty to either contact us or dealer

My Vanguard NXT is possibly the best material purchase I’ve ever made. This tub is high-quality, the various jets are spectacular, and it comfortably fits my family and a few friends. I use my tub year-around, even in cold Toronto winters, it’s a perfect escape at the end of the day, and I sleep extremely well after every evening soak. My love dealer was also great to work with, and I highly recommend Hot Spring Spas for anyone considering buying a high-quality spa for their home.

We had a Grandee many years back which lasted many years. We said if we ever redo the yard we would get another Hot Springs Hot Tub.
Well this year we finished out new yard and bought the Vanguard. Why did we wait so long! It is fabulous and its not even the fall or winter season. My family and my GRAND KIDS love it.....
Best investment for quality and the service provided by Ocean Spray is incredible....
